Chapter 1:

Keilter sighed as he saw Matt cry over his brother.

" Cole!!!!! Cole Lenger!!!!!!"

A man appeared next to Keilter.

"What do you want Keilter?"

"Please save him."

"Why should I?"

"Please." Matt said.

Cole looked at Matt then at Caleb.

"He's all I have."

Cole nodded. "How long as he been...?"

"Um three minutes."

Cole nodded again. "We have time. It hasn't been that long."

Cole went over and knelt down beside Caleb. He put his hands on Caleb's head and closes his eyes. Caleb shoots up gasping. Matt smiled and hugged him tightly.

"Um.........Matt?" Caleb gasped.

"Yeah Cal?"

"Can you loosen your hold? I can't breath."

"Sorry." Matt loosened his hold.

"Question."

"Yeah?"

"How am I alive?"

"I healed you." Cole said.

"Oh. Thank you."

"Your welcome now I'm going to-"

"Sam?!" Danny asked.

Sam's eyes rolled into his head and he fell limp in Danny's arms. Cole went over and placed his hands on Sam's head. Sam gasped and Danny leaned down and kissed his head. Sam laid his head on Danny's neck.

Sam looked at Cole. "Thank you for what ever you did."

"It's called healing Sam." Cole said. "But your welcome. Now is there anything else or can I leave?"

"You can leave. Thank you,"

"I didn't do it for you. I did it for them."

Cole then disappeared. Matt looked at Mikelo. Caleb looked over and with a flick of his wrist Mikelo exploded.

"Can we please leave now?" Sam asked.

"Yeah."

Then they all left. Keilter looked at the time.

"Night boys."

"Night Keilter." The boys said leaving with their stuff.

"Oh Sam?"

"Yeah?"

"I gave Brian your new number along with your ma."

"Oh um okay."

Sam and Danny then left. As they were walking home Sam got a text. He took out his new phone and read it.

Sam sweety me and Brian got tomorrow off so tomorrow you can come home. Tonight's the last night of double shifts.

Okay mom. I'll see you tomorrow. Night.

Night baby. Love you.

"So I'm leaving tomorrow."

"Wait what?"

"My mom and Bri has off and has no more double shifts. So I gotta go home tomorrow."

"What about-"

"Danny. He's dead. We are safe now. That won't stop us from hanging out."

He's right Danny. Mikelo's dead. Your safe now. Ace said.

"I know. Okay."

Sam smiled. They then went inside and saw Danny's mom cooking.

"Hey ma."

"Hey baby. Keith's here."

"Hey Daniel." Keith said.

"Keith. Um Sam you gonna be okay?"

"Are you asking me permission to hang out with your friend?"

"Heh. Yeah I guess I am."

"Go hang out with your friend."

"Wanna come?"

"Nah. Your friend."

Danny kissed him. "Okay."

"Have fun."

"I will."

Sam watched as Danny and Keith left before going into the kitchen.

"Any thing I can help with ma'am?"

"Ah yes Sam. Do you know how to make a pumpkin pie?"

"Yeah."

"Can you please do that?"

"Okay."

Sam got the ingredients out and then got a pan out. He then started working on the pie.

"How you doing Sam?"

"I'm alright."

"How about with Danny?"

"We are okay..... Your not against your son being gay are you?"

"Nope I think it's cute."

Sam smiled.

"And you are his first boy friend. And kiss. And I like you. Your great for my son."

"What do you mean?"

"Well your sweet, handsome, protective, calm. Not to mention kind. A lot of things my son needs."

"Thank you."

"Thank you for meeting my son. And not immediately deciding you don't like him."

"Kinda hard for me to do. He's so sweet and kind and cute and........."

"And? Well come on keep going."

"Well he's everything I never thought I'd get."

Scarlet smiled. She came over and kissed Sam's head. "See. Your perfect together. You deserve each other."

"Your right. He's so.........Danny." Sam said.

"Yeah that explains a lot about him." Scarlet said going back over to her dish.

"It does though."

Sam made the crust of the pie before sticking the pie into the oven. He set the time and stepped back. He sat with his back to the wall.

"So what you making?"

"Chicken with mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie."

"Awesome."

"Yeah." Scarlet said mashing the potatoes.

Sam leaned his chin on his knee watching as she put the potatoes away. She then checked on the chicken before sitting beside him.

"You know there is a living room right?"

"Yeah."

"Good. Just checkin'. Why don't you go in there. See if there is something you'd like to read. Or watch. And that does not include watching me."

"Dang."
