Chapter 6:

Sam soon fell back to sleep after the argument. Brian ran his hand through Sam's hair. Then kissed his forehead. He sat back and played a game on his phone on mute. He then saw the time and stood. He kissed Sam's head.

"I'll be back after work kiddo." He whispered to him before leaving.

Sam moved a little but didn't wake. Scarlet looked over at Sam then at Keith. Scarlet stood. "I'm getting some coffee."

"Okay." Danny watched his mom leave before looking at the sleeping Sam. He sighed.

Danny stood and went over. "Sam."

Sam's eyes opened slowly and he looked at him.

"I know me kissing Keith hurt you but he finally told me how he felt and I also like him so..... Yeah. I'm sorry Sam but we are over. If you don't want to see me or work with me I suggest you quit."

Sam looked down. "I figured as much." He said quietly.

Danny sighed. He then went back to Keith and took his hand. Keith moved a little but didn't wake. Sam closed his eyes and fell back to sleep. Danny looked at Keith's face. "Come on baby. Wake up."

Scarlet then came back in and handed Danny some coffee.

"Thanks ma."

"No problem sweety."

Keith then started moving a little.

"Keith? Baby can you hear me?"

Keith eyes slowly opened and he looked at Danny. He smiled and touched Danny's face. Then there was knocking on the door and a guy entered. Keith looked at the guy and his heart sped up and his eyes widened.

"Keith! Baby calm down!" Danny looked at the guy. "Who are you?!"

"I'm Paul. I'm Keith's father."

"Your the one that made him have a heart attack!"

"Yes."

"How can you do that to your own son?!"

"I had forgotten he has a heart condition that he was born with."

"How can you forget something like that?!"

"Sweety calm down. Try to calm Keith down. Paul come to the hall and talk with me."

Scarlet then left and Paul followed.

"Keith baby look at me. He's gone. Shhh. Calm down baby."

Keith calmed down and looked at him. Danny ran his hand through Keith's hair.

"You okay now?"

"Yeah." Keith looked behind Danny at Sam. Danny followed his sight and sighed.

"Me and Sam broke up Kei. We can be together now okay?"

"Okay."

Danny put his hand to Keith's face. He looked at Sam when Sam whimpered and turned in his sleep. He looked at Keith and smiled. Keith smiled back. For a few hours they talked and Keith fell asleep. His ma had come back in and was sitting beside Keith. Danny slowly fell asleep. Scarlet looked at Sam and her eyes filled with concern when she saw Sam moving his head back and forth. She went over and put her hand on his forehead and she grew even more worried when she felt how hot his head was.

"Sam?"

Sam's eyes shot open and he started gasping.

"Nurse!"

A nurse ran in and she called the doctor when she saw the state Sam was in. The doctor realized what was wrong as soon as she saw Sam. He was having a very high allergic reaction to the medicine she gave him. She put a mask over his nose and mouth and pumped his stomach getting the medicine out and putting him on one that doesn't have the ingredient. She sighed as she watched Sam sleep with the mask on now.

"He'll be alright now. He has to have the mask on for a couple days. Sorry about that Ms. Coldier."

Scarlet sat back down beside Keith who had woken and was watching.

"Is he going to be okay?"

"Yeah. He just had a bad allergic reaction. How you feeling?"

"Tired."

"Get some sleep."

Keith then fell back to sleep. Scarlet got comfortable before joining her son and his boyfriend in sleep. When she woke Sam's brother Brian was stroking Sam's hair.

"Don't worry Sammy. I'm staying with you until you get out of here."

"Bri?" Sam asked tiredly.

"Yeah kiddo?"

"Don't you have to work?"

"My boss gave me the week off to be with you. See. He likes you."

Sam chuckled quietly.

"How you feeling kiddo?"

"Tired. When is mom getting here?"

Brian smiled knowing Sam wanted his mom right now. He wants both of them here with him.

"She'll be here soon baby boy. Until then get some sleep."

Sam smiled. "I'll bet she's going to be yelling when she see's I'm not alone."

Brian laughed.

"Yeah she will. She wanted you to be on a room all by yourself so you can rest."

Sam then smiled and fell back to sleep. After a while Tracy came in and she was not happy about him not having a separate room.
