Chapter 8:

Cason watched Sam work on his part of the project. He bit his lip. From the short time Cason knew Sam he knew that Sam was sweet and very quiet. He was probably the kindest person Cason ever met. Which makes what he has to do so much harder. I'm sorry Sam. But I have to do what boss orders. You are just too powerful for him. Cason thought.

"Cason can you stop staring at me? It's really creeping me out."

  "Sorry. Hey Sam?"

  "Yeah?" Sam looked at him putting his pencil down and moving the hair from his face.

  "Can..... Do you want to hang out after school? We can go to my house and watch some movies or something." Sam blinked surprised. "I mean I know we just met and all but you seem like a cool kid and I wanna become friends and get to know you better."

  "Uh yeah sure." Sam said then smiled.

  Cason smiled then they worked on the project. The bell rang and as Sam was walking to class his phone rang.

  "Yello?" He asked.

  "Hey Sam it's Matt. I just wanted to let you know that Caleb will be there soon. Despite the fact that I begged him to stay home for a couple days. Don't tell him I told you this but I think the only reason he wants to go is because of you. I think he's in love with you."

  "Why would you think that Matt?" Sam asked stopping in front of the class.

  "He just acts like it. I mean he protects you, he's always around you, he keeps saving you, and......."

  "And?"

  "And I can see it in his eyes when he looks at you. If you want him to tell you though so you can actually believe me just ask him."

  "Fine. I will bye Matt."

  "Bye Sammy."

   Sam sighed as he hung up then walked into class. He went to his seat. Caleb likes me? Why? I'm nothing special. I'm just plain old me. Maybe Matt's wrong and Caleb likes someone else? Sam's taken from his thought by Daniel coming over and sitting beside him.

  "What do you want Daniel?"

   "What happened to being called Danny?" Daniel asked.

  "That stopped when you cheated on me. And stopped caring. Yeah I know about how you acted when Bri told you I'm in the hospital. So stop pretending and tell me what you want."

   "I want you to stay away from Caleb."

   "What?! No. He's my friend and I will keep hanging out with him.

   "Who was the guy you were with earlier?"

   "How is that any of your business?" Sam asked narrowing his eyes.

    "Mr. Meil and Mr. Coldier are you done?"

  "Yes sir." Sam said.

  Sam then did his work and quickly left when the bell rang. He went to his locker and grabbed his books and turned only to walk into a hard chest. Hands steadied him when he stumbled.

   "Are you okay Sam?" Caleb asked. Sam looked up to see Caleb was the one holding him.

  "No."

  "What's wrong?" Caleb asked worried.

  "Daniel told me to stay away from you then he got into my business about a new friend."

  "Come with me."

  "No Caleb it's ok really."

  "No Sam. He needs to know that your business is none of his. And he can't stop you from hanging out with me."

  Before Sam can stop him Caleb grabbed his hand and dragged him to where Danny was.

  "Oh hey Caleb." Daniel said ignoring Sam.

  "Daniel leave Sam alone. He can hang out with whoever he wants and it's none of your business who he's friends with."

  "Why do you care? Are you dating him?"

   "No he's my friend though."

     "Do you want to be more then friends with him?" Daniel asked.

      "Yes." Caleb said looking at Sam.
  
     Sam stared at him shocked. He then grabbed Caleb's hand and led him away from Daniel. "Were you serious just now Cal?"

      "I was Sam. I really like you." Caleb said blushing.

    Sam smiled and took Caleb's face into his hands before leaning up and kissing him. Caleb immediately kissed back wrapping his arms around Sam. Sam pulled away and smiled at Caleb.

  "We need to get to class."

  "Yeah. Hey Sam?"

  "Yeah?" He looked at him.

   "Does that mean we are dating now?"

  "Nope." Sam said. "You haven't asked me out yet." Sam said hurriedly when he saw Caleb's crestfallen expression.

  "Oh." Caleb blushed. "Um will you.... Go out with me?"

   Sam smiled and said yes. Caleb grinned and they walked to their next class holding hands. They went in and saw Daniel staring at their combined hands. Sam smiled as Caleb led him to the back and they sat beside each other. Cason sat in front of them.

  "Hi Sam."

  "Hi Cason​. Cason this is my boyfriend Caleb. Caleb this is Cason."
 
   "Ah the new friend?"

  "Yep." Soon the rest of the day goes by and Sam kisses Caleb goodbye. Cason and Sam then walk to Cason's house and Cason leads him to his room. They hang out for a while until Cason hears his dad enter the house. Cason looks at Sam and says he will be right back. He then goes downstairs. "Dad."

  "Cason did you meet him?"

  "He's here."

  "You did great son. You know what to do."

  "Yes father."

  Cason went upstairs and into the bathroom. He grabbed the chloroform and a cloth before dousing the cloth with the chloroform. He went to his room and went up behind Sam before putting the cloth over Sam's nose and mouth forcing him to inhale the sweet smell.

  "I'm sorry." He whispered.

  As soon as Sam was out Cason lifted him over his shoulder and carried him down to the basement. He hears a muffled whimpering sound and ignored it for now. He chained Sam up against the wall before turning to their other captive. Cason went over to the boy and grabbed the cloth covered in chloroform and put it to the boys face watching as he struggled weakly before soon going limp. Cason went upstairs and went over to his dad.

  "Sam is tied up and your other captive was awake but I put him back to sleep. Father who is this other captive? You told me you'd tell me when I get Sam for you."

  "I did say that didn't I? Tell me Cason which one is cuter?"

  "I don't know. I didn't see the others captives looks."

  "Go look and tell me."

  "Yes father."

  Cason goes down to the basement again and gently lifts the other captives head. He looked​ between both of them then went back upstairs when he decided which one was cuter.

  "Did you choose?"

  "Yes father." Cason said.

  "The one you have chosen will either become your new boyfriend which will later become your husband or become your slave." Cason's father said.
