i remember the night I hit her. i wasn't drunk and I wasn't high. maybe that's why I hate myself so much for it.

she kept yelling and yelling no matter how many times I told her to just. shut. up.

she told me that if I wouldn't stop doing what I did that she would leave me. she got in my face, waving her hands around. and i back handed her. she put her hand to her red face but sickeningly enough she didn't slap me back, she didn't cry, she didn't even look surprised. she just laughed a dry, bitter laugh. and walked out the door.

i didn't see her for a month and when I found her again, her hair was black and she was living with another girl. her girlfriend, she told me when I knocked on her door. i found out where she was living from grilling Calum about it, she still talked to all of them. just not me. Calum punched me in the face a good 3 times for slapping her. i deserved it.

for lack of better words I asked her if she wanted to go get high. I missed her and I had no idea how the fuck you asked for forgiveness because I had never done it before. she scoffed and slammed the door in my face but not before I saw her girlfriend walking out of their room to see what was going on.

i wonder if that girl even knew that I existed in her life.
