"C'mon... she's never out this late.." Angel sighed. You had been missing for hours. They rest of them never saw you leave, but you were nowhere to be seen.
"Just give her time. Maybe something happened." Husk reasoned, taking a drink. Although, he too was worried.
For the last few days, you weren't yourself, and disappearing for this long wasn't something you'd do.
He wondered why....
"We need to find Y/N. Make sure she stays out of sight in anything we see."
"Yes, sir... It's a shame a winner had to discover us."
"I know... I never even got to bed her before we had to drop her."
"Uh.. sir-"
"Whatever, just keep her out of sight or range in anything at the court hearing."
"Ad...am..."
You stared at the first man and his lieutenant. Blood stained their clothes.
You had gotten curious tonwhy every day each year, those two had to leave somewhere, so you followed.
And saw everything.
The open portal, the screams, the bloodshed.
"You... murdered..." You trailed off, your wings tucking behind you.
"Ah...sssshhh*t..." Adam winced, holding his hands up.
You immediately dart away but were tackled by Lute. She pulled her sword on you, and you gasped. Was she gonna kill you?!
"No, Lute... let's just, uh.." Adam said, shifting her off you.
He grabbed you by your shoulders before slamming you against the ground of clouds below you.
"Sorry, sweetie... but... we can't have this news out..."
Your eyes widened, and Lute's swords shifted to an angle at your back.
You shut your eyes tight, and an excruciating pain overwhelmed you, and your eyes teared up.
Next thing you knew...
Whoosh! Your body felt weightless... you fell...
