We all stand there watching as if it is an old movie. That's how it feels. Everything is in a brown tone and people are moving around and through us like we are not even there.
"Hello?" I wave but they walk right through me.
"Aimee, I don't think they can even hear us" Cassie says.
'Meow' Leo agrees
"I knew that"
We all decide it's probably a sign I mean if we weren't suppose to see it we wouldn't have. So with ma taking the lead with Leo we decide to walk into the now seemingly functioning Orphanage full of little girls.
"It's weird, I can't hear anything, but I can see it all happing around me" Donna says.
"Yea it's like being deft or watching a movie with no sound only we are in it."
Everything looks restored. The walls are new and clean. The floor is swept and mopped, the benches and desks are like new and all the children look happy. I have never felt so out of place. Cassie wanders over to what I assume is the classroom, due to the desks and blackboard. And Donna walks over to the nursery to fawn over the babies, typical. I stay over by the door watching the whole scene.
"I can see you"
I jump so high I swear I could have gone through the roof! I look down to see a small child looking up at me!
"Ummm....... Are you talking to me?"
"Who else?"
Ok, this is officially weird. I must have knocked my head on a god damn boulder there is no way this kid is talking to me.
"Yes I am"
"What the?"
"Listen I don't have much time. You need to save Lila she was not meant to die so young. Please she needs to live"
"What do you mean I thought she was just missing?"
"Please remember these words. A flower so young cherishes the sun, a willow so old will steal her soul; beauty is all one truly needs to bring mankind to its knees"
"Wait what?" I say, shaking my head, but the little girl has disappeared.
"Strange. Hey guys?" I say waving Cassie and Donna over just as they reach me we hear humming from the top of the stairs. We all look up together to see Lila in the clothes she is reported to go missing in singing to herself but clear to us.
*Lila*
We lay my love and I beneath the weeping willow.
But now alone I lie and weep beside the tree.
Singing;
Oh willow waly; by the tree that weeps with me.
Singing;
Oh willow waly; till my lover return to me.
We lay my love and I beneath the weeping willow.
A broken heart have I. Oh willow I die, oh willow I die.

"We'll that wasn't insanely creepy" I mutter.
"I think it was beautiful" Donna says, looking at Lila who is now at the bottom of the stairs.
"Guys? I think we have bigger problems" Cass says.
She points at a nun walking out of what I can remember as being the office area, and she looks pissed.
"Lila! What have I told you no running down the stairs"
"But....b..but I didn't run? I w..w...walked"
"Don't you dare back chat me, young miss, that is it! I have had enough. At precisely 2 pm, you will meet me in the holy room for punishment. Do you understand?"
"I......"
"Do. You. Understand?!"
"Yes sister"
