Ding Dong Ding

"Drew sweetie can you get the door, I think it's Daddy and Grandma."

"YAY!"

Drew rushed to the door. Today was the day of his party and Michelle, Justin and Pattie still had some setting up to do.

"Happy Birthday buddy!" Justin picked Drew up as soon as he opened the door.

"Daddy! Grandma!"

"Happy Birthday Andy." Pattie was the only person that Drew allowed to call him Andy, he liked it when she said it.

"Come see outside Grandma. Mommy made it look really nice. And there's a bouncy house!" Drew dragged Pattie into the backyard, leaving Justin and Michelle.

Justin walked into the kitchen to see Michelle putting cupcakes on trays. He smiled at the determined look on her face, she wanted this to be perfect. He went up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. Michelle jumped and turned around, she smiled at Justin and pecked his lips. She tried to pull away but Justin had a firm grip on her. He smiled into the kiss and deepened it. After awhile they pulled away.

"Hello beautiful."

"Hi..." Michelle had a dreamy smile on her face. Whenever Justin was around she felt like she was on Cloud 9.

If you hadn't noticed, the date turned out pretty well. They were sort of together, they weren't really sure what they were. Drew wasn't aware of this at all. Every time Justin would come over, he wouldn't see when Justin would kiss Michelle. Only Pattie knew about it, since the night after the date Justin screamed to her how amazing the kiss was. How many sparks he felt, and kept going on and on about how crazy he was for her.

"I'm guessing Drew liked the bouncy house."

"Yeah he loved it. Thank you." She kissed his lips and turned back to the cupcakes.

"You're welcome. So when is everybody getting here?"

"Around 2, so we have 2 hours to get the last bit ready. Like getting Drew to wear the clothes I picked out." Michelle pouted.

"Need help with that. I can get him to change."

"Awww thank you. That's why I like you."

"Well I'm falling in love with you." At least that's what Justin said in his head. He knew it was too soon to say that considering he had no clue where they were in their relationship.

Before Justin got outside Drew was talking to Pattie. He was so excited for his birthday, especially the cake. He wanted to make an extra special wish.

"Grandma? When you blow out your birthday candles you get to make a wish right?"

"Yeah of course you can."

"Does it come true?" Pattie couldn't lie to him and for all she knew maybe his wish does come true.

"Yup it does. Why is there a toy you want?"

"No don't let anyone but I only have 1 wish. I want Mommy and Daddy to be together forever."

Pattie couldn't believe her ears, what an adorable wish. She smiled since his wish sort of already was true, but she wasn't going to ruin it for him.

"That's a great wish honey. And I'm sure it will come true, don't worry."

"You think so."

"I know so." Drew smiled at Pattie and hugged her.

Then Justin walked outside picked Drew up and went outside without saying a word. He got Drew changed and they finished the final touches of the party.
