Michelle turned around to look at them and there stood...a girl with long curly blonde hair and brown eyes.
"Oh my god...A-Alice?"
"Yeah it's me Mimi. Who else would it be.?"
Michelle didn't respond, she ran to the her and wrapped her arms around her, tears falling down. Alice hugged her back, holding on tightly as if for dear life, she started to tear up too.
"I've missed you so much Ice!"
"I missed you too Mimi!"
They stayed like that for almost 5 minutes. But you can't blame them, almost 4 years apart, that's gotta hurt. Here's there back story.
Alice and Michelle were roommates in college, Alice was the first person Michelle meet in school. Alice was outgoing, crazy, sweet, and cool while Michelle was quite, shy, and sweet. They were so different, Michelle was brunette, Alice was blonde. Alice was hot while Michelle was cute. Alice was loud and spoke her mind, and Michelle was quite and kept to herself. But somehow they became the best of friends. It was probably because they shared one common bond...they didn't come from great families. Alice's parents were divorced and she spent her whole life living back and forth, hearing one complain about the other and when each got remarried she was left out. While Michelle she barley saw either of her parents, they were never around, most of her time was spent alone in a big house, and when her parents were home, her father didn't speak and her mother only spoke about herself. So that's how they bonded, they became each other's shoulder to lean on, even when Michelle had Kyle, she still needed Alice. You couldn't separate them if you tried, they did everything together. They were goofballs together, yelling in the streets at night and causing scenes in restaurants just to get a laugh. Everyone thought they were crazy or mental but they didn't care, that's how they were and they were proud of it. As you can tell they have nicknames for each other. Alice is Ice cause she eats ice cubes all the time, she crunches on them like they're chips. (I actually do that lol, so that's how I came up with her nickname :) and Michelle is Mimi cause well...Alice always says how cute she is, so it fit lol
They pulled away from the hug.
"Man I haven't seen you in years, what are you doing here?"
"I'm the new secretary for the office upstairs. I'm gonna spend all day sitting in a desk while you get to have fun down here taking pics."
"Wow that's a twist, now I'm the one having fun."
Alice punched her arm. "Haha, well I actually like it. It's relaxing and quite. We need to catch up, how about tomorrow we go to Starbucks, haven't been there together in a while. Oh! I just got a new apartment by the office and I could use a roommate....huh? How about you move in? It can be like college all over again, expect we don't sleep in and miss class."
Michelle laughed. "Awww I would love to really, but-"
"Oh let me guess you live with Kyle now. Are you two ever gonna get married?" Alice said teasing and smiled, but noticed Michelle's frown. "What's wrong?"
"Alice...Kyle and I broke up about 4 years ago."
"What?! Why? You guys were perfect."
"Not really, he left me."
"That bastard! I'll kill him! What happened?"
Michelle took a deep breathe and told Alice everything that happened after she left. She already knew about Michelle not being able to have kids, so that wasn't a shock. But Alice couldn't believe that Kyle would leave Michelle like that. She felt her heart breaking, the three of them were like the Three Musketeers, but now Alice doesn't think she could ever look at Kyle.
"Mimi I'm so sorry. But hey it was years ago, who gives a crap about him now...then why can't you move in with me?"
"Oh well...I might not be with Kyle, but I'm with someone else."
"OMG! Who is he? Can I meet him?"
"He's name is Justin" Michelle felt a smile come to her face and just saying his name.
"Who Justin Bieber?" Alice started cracking up, she looked at Michelle waiting for her to laugh to. But Michelle had a slight smile on her face. "OMG It is Justin Bieber! The Justin Bieber, that sexy gorgeous actor. You're dating him! You lucky bitch."
"Shhh don't go screaming it to the world. Yes I'm dating him. We actually live together now."
"Really? Awww Michelle, how cute. Are you guys serious?"
"Yeah we are. He's already told me he loves me." Michelle had the biggest smile on her face, she couldn't help but smile when thinking of Justin. He was her prince charming, he was everything she ever wanted but thought she would never get.
"Uhhh...I'm crazy about him Alice. He's my everything, I love just knowing he's mine and he wants to be with me."
"I'm so happy for you Michelle! But if he breaks your heart, I'm going to break that pretty face of his." Michelle laughed and gave Alice a huge hug. "So how'd you meet him?"
"Well that's a long and confusing story, and sadly I don't have time to tell you. So how about this tomorrow you come over to my house and we catch up then."
"Sure. I'll see you tomorrow, I gotta get some papers down here and head back up to the office before they notice how long I've been gone. Bye." Alice hugged Michelle and went off. Michelle went back to changing the lens on her camera.
"Ms. Reed, there's someone here to see you."
"Again? Okay send them in."
"They're already here."
Michelle turned around and her eyes went wide. The person in front of her was the last person she needed or wanted to see.They scratched the back of their neck and looked nervously at her. But still had hope in their eyes.
"Hi Michelle."
"...Kyle...what are you doing here?"
