It was a picture of Michelle and some guy kissing.
Justin felt his heart shatter. Sure it was probably before they met and Justin did have Selena once. But the way they looked in the picture, young and in love. He turned it over, it said
Kyle&Michelle: Together Forever.
Who was this Kyle guy? And what happened that they weren't together anymore? Michelle never mentioned anyone. She said she wasn't with anyone when she got Drew but the date has the year he was born. She lied to him. Justin felt his blood boil, he didn't like this picture. What if this guy left when Michelle said she wanted a kid? What if he didn't like Drew when she got him so he left? Just the thought made Justin want to beat him up.
He wanted to know who this guy was. He was staring so much at it that he didn't notice Michelle come in.
"Hey Drew fell asleep on the couch so-" Michelle saw the picture in Justin's hand. "What are you doing?" She walked up and tried to take the picture from Justin's hand, but he kept it out of her reach. "Justin...give it to me."
"Why? Does it mean something?" Michelle was shocked by the attitude in Justin's voice.
"Yeah actually it does. It's a memory of course it means something. Now give it to me, please" She reached up again and again but still Justin wouldn't give it up. "Justin give it to me!"
"Not till you answer me something. Who is this guy?"
"It's an old boyfriend. Why does it matter?"
"It matters cause you lied to me!"
"Excuse me? You wanna explain." Michelle was starting to get pissed off.
"You told me that you weren't with anyone when you adopted Drew, but the date here says the year he was born. Was he Drew's 'dad'?"
"No he wasn't!-"
"Then explain the date! You guys adopted him together didn't you? And you didn't tell me, so I'm just a replacement for Drew since he left."
"What no-"
Michelle was dying inside. She didn't want to relive those memories, it was painful and she didn't want Justin to know. She felt tears coming...But at the same time she was pissed off, she wanted to prove him wrong. Justin's face was full of anger and demand.
"Then what happened?!"
"You wanna know what happened? Here's what happened. He left me! He left me when he found out I couldn't have my own kids, he didn't love me enough to stay! He left me heartbroken and shattered! There happy now you know!!"
Justin face dropped, he couldn't believe what he heard. That pathetic guy just left her. Justin looked at Michelle and saw tears down her face, before he could open his mouth to apologize Michelle headed for the stairs.
"No wait Michelle. I'm sorry!." She ignored him and kept walking. Justin ran after her, he wasn't letting her walk away. He needed to apologize for being an ass. He grabbed her arm. "Boo pleas-" Michelle yanked her arm away and turned around.
"Don't! Don't you dare touch me. And don't call me 'boo'." Michelle picked up her keys and headed for the door. "I'm going for a walk. STAY HERE with Drew....And...I want your all your stuff out of here." She shut the door behind her.
Justin felt his heart break into a million pieces and then get smashed into dust and blown away. He just ruined everything, they were in such a good place. Just this morning they were happy and kissing every 5 seconds. Now he would be lucky if he ever got a kiss from her again. No wonder she never mentioned him, he wasn't worth talking about, 4 years later of course it wouldn't matter now. It was a horrible memory, of course she wouldn't want to talk about it. He let his jealousy get the better of him.
