The Next Morning

Michelle woke up to Justin's arms wrapped tightly around her waist and he was kissing her neck. She smiled and sighed, the memories of last night filling into her brain. She couldn't decide whether she was happy about what happened or upset that they didn't wait.

"Good Morning Boo." When Michelle saw the look on Justin's face, she decided she was happy about what happened. Justin's eyes were full of love and happiness when he looked at her.

"Good Morning Justin. Last night was..."

"Amazing? Perfect? Spontaneous? Wonderful?"

Michelle laughed. "Yes to all four...I love you."

"I love you too" He kissed her lips. "Please tell me you don't work today."

"Sorry sweetie I do. I gotta start working on next month's magazine already. But I don't have to be there till 3."

Justin made a pouty face, Michelle giggled, the face wasn't going to work on her, only she could make that face.

"Uhhh fine. Then the three of us are spending the morning together, as a family before you go to work. So...get up!"

Justin jumped off the bed and put his boxers on while Michelle wrapped the sheets around her body.

"Okay fine. You gonna shower first or should I?"

Justin's face broke out into a huge grin. Michelle immediately knew what he was thinking.

"No! I'm not showering WITH you."

"Awww come on. We'll be done faster."

"N-"

Before Michelle could finish Justin picked her up and ran to the bathroom, while she screamed for him to put her down, but she couldn't help but laugh. So after there little fun in the shower, they got changed and woke Drew up, to go out for breakfast. They got into the car and drove to iHOP.

"Mommy?"

"Yeah sweet heart."

"Where were you last night? You weren't there to tuck me in."

"Um..." Michelle couldn't think of what to say. She noticed Justin become all tense. He didn't want to think about the fight yesterday, he wanted to put it all behind them. "I went out to take care of some stuff, I would have been back sooner, but the rain got in my way."

"Oh that's okay. I know how much you like the rain Mommy. I just missed you."

Michelle smiled hearing that. "I missed you too sweetie."

"Mommy why do you like the rain so much? It's cold and gets you sick."

Drew made a disgusted face which made Michelle laugh.

"Well an old friend of Mommy's taught her to love the rain, he said it can make you happy when you're sad." Michelle didn't notice the smile that crept onto her face...but Justin noticed it. He regretted now more than ever that he asked about Kyle. Now he brought make Michelle's memories of him, by asking about him, he got Michelle to remember about him.

"Really? Where is he?"

"I don't know sweetie...I think I lost him."

"I'm sorry, you lost your friend Mommy. But hey you have Daddy now."

Michelle smiled at Drew and took Justin's free hand, intertwining their finger.

"Yeah I have Daddy now, he's A LOT better...and I love him."

Justin looked at her and smiled. He pecked her lips and held on tightly to her hand.

"I love you too."

Drew was shocked, but in a good way. He never heard them say that, he was so happy at that moment. His wish was coming true.

Soon they got to iHOP, they got out of the car. Drew on Justin's shoulders and Michelle holding Justin's hand. They ordered their food, Drew of course got waffles, his favorite with lots of whip cream. It covered almost his entire face.

"Mommy, Daddy I love you."

They both looked at him, a little surprised. That came out of nowhere at all,

"Love you too sweetie." Michelle kissed his cheek, getting whip cream on her lips.

They finished eating and drove back to the house or so they thought. Michelle noticed that Justin wasn't taking the right route home.

"Justin...I think you took the wrong road."

"Nope...I didn't."

"Yeah you did. This isn't the way home."

"Oh we're not going home. We still have 3 hours til you go to work so we're gonna go to the park. You like that idea Drew?"

"Yeah!"

Michelle laughed. "Well I'm okay with the park but I think you're going the wrong way still."

"Nope I'm taking you guys to a different park."

Justin handed Michelle a blindfold before they stopped. He wanted to surprise her, the park was beautiful and he wanted to see the look of shock on her face.

And her face was priceless, her mouth was hung open, she didn't even notice Drew running around like crazy. He had never seen a park so big and pretty, it was like a magical world to him. Justin laughed at how shocked this two were. Soon Michelle's arms were wrapped around his neck almost chocking him.

"Oh My God. I love it here! It's so beautiful where did you find this place?"

"I don't really know. I was just walking around after my divorce all depressed, and somehow I ended up here."

"Oh...well I love it here. I just wish I had my camera."

"Oh don't worry about that. I brought it for you. I thought you could use a break from taking picture for a magazine and not for yourself."

"Awww Justin, thank you!"

Michelle kissed his cheek and ran off to take pictures. She took a lot actually, some of the trees and some of Drew.

Drew didn't even notice, he was too busy playing with Justin. They ran around playing some sort of game, it was tag and hide and seek put together lol. Michelle found it so sweet to see father and son together. She found herself staring at them, something inside told her not to let Justin go. Not that she had an plans on doing that, she knew or at least hoped that Justin was the one, she couldn't picture life without him. He made her feel complete, she felt like she was flying. He gave her so many butterflies, and he made her son happy. She finally had a family.

Soon Drew feel asleep under a tree, so they carried him into the car and drove home. Justin took Drew inside, and kissed Michelle before she left to work. Michelle got to work and started putting the models into their places, but then someone called her.

"Michelle there's someone here to see you."

"Who?"

"Can't say they wanted to surprise you."

"Well...okay. Tell them I'm here."

The assistant walked away and let Michelle go back to work. Michelle could hear footsteps come up behind her.

"Hey Mimi!"

Michelle froze in place...only one person in the world called her that and she hadn't seen them in years. Tears started to form in her eyes, she turned around to look at them.
