     bzzzzzt...

     bzzzzzt...

I was awoken by my phones irritating buzzing noises, and I hastily picked it up. The screen was so bright. It took a few seconds for my eyes to adjust. All was blurry until I could finally make out who was calling me. It all came into focus.

  It was Ludwig.

God, what does he want? He's probably just calling so he can tell me that he doesn't like me anymore and that we should never speak again.

I was hesitant at first, the phone practically begging me to slide that green answer button. Thoughts rushed through my head. Wild theories and jumped conclusions were scattered in my brain.

What's the worst that could happen?

"Hello?" I asked tiredly, yawning in the process.

"Ah, um, Feli? Did I wake you?" He replied in a gentle voice. It wasn't like him, but it suited him better than the usual cold and harsh sounding one.

"Um, yeah. B-but it's okay! Not a problem at all!"

"Well, I was just calling so I could ask to come over again maybe. I'm really-" He paused, as if thinking of the right words to say "- I mean, I wanted to talk about last night in person. I-I understand if you don't want to see me," His voice got quieter as the sentence went on.

I suddenly felt a pang of guilt. I did this to him. I made him feel sorry. I made him feel as if he did something terribly wrong. It was all my fault.

"Ah! No, no! You're more than welcome to come back over! See you in a bit!" I hung up. It had to be done. I had to apologize. If I didn't, I would feel guilt for the rest of my life over it.

Quickly, I got up from my bed and got myself to actually look slightly presentable.

     Lovino groaned.

"Don't you dare tell me that stupid boy is coming over again. Didn't he completely destroy your feelings?" He accused.

"Y-yeah, I guess. But, I think he's coming over to clear things up! Lovino, I'll be perfectly fine, remember? I can handle it,"

He looked unsure, but shrugged and went along with it.

"Just promise me, Feliciano. Promise me you wont let this boy break your heart again. Promise me this wont effect our relationship as brothers and best friends. Promise me you wont make stupid decisions with him. Promise me he wont change who you are," He urged.

"Of course not, Lovino. You know, you've been acting really strange lately, like you actually care about me. I'm not complaining though,"

"L-listen. I just don't want you to make the same mistakes I did,"

"Lovino, how many times do I have to tell you, those weren't mi-"

I was interrupted when I heard a loud knock at the door.

"We'll finish this later. Now, go. And remember my promise," Lovino sighed.

I flashed him a thumbs up as I ran to the door. I really wanted to see Ludwig again.
