Bought [Kaneki x Touka] [Touken]

The next morning...

Ringggg! Ringggg!

Touka got woken up by that noisy alarm of hers. She looked at the time and slammed the button down. It's 8am.

She got up from the too comfortable bed and went to the toilet to prepare.

After she was done, she walked into the living room to find Kaneki and his mom at the kitchen area.

"Good morning." Touka greeted.

"Morning." Kaneki greeted back.

"Good morning dear. Did you sleep well last night?" Kaneki's mom asked.

"Yes I did. Slept better than any other days. Thank you." Touka replied.

She chuckled. "Glad to hear that. Come and sit down beside Ken, breakfast will be ready soon."

"Okay." Touka sat down beside Kaneki.

Touka stared at Kaneki.

Kaneki tilted his head in confusion as he caught Touka staring.

"Um... Your hair is sticking out..." Touka was referring to his bed hair.

"Huh where?" Kaneki touched his hair. "Mom why didn't you tell me?" He pouted.

She laughed.

"Jeez. I'll be right back." Kaneki left to the toilet to fix his hair.

"Ken can be so cute sometimes. He's already 23 and yet he still acts like a child." Mrs Kaneki spoke.

"Ahh-choo!" Kaneki sneezed. He rubbed his nose. "Ugh someone's talking about me..." But he quickly shook the thought away and continued fixing his hair.

"Um.. What kind of person is Kaneki-san?" Touka asked.

"Ken? Hmm... Let's see. He's always the quiet one, selfless and gullible. He's also quite the workaholic just like his father. So he often comes home in the wee hours of the night. Sometimes he even stays over at the company."

"I see."

"Momm!! Is breakfast ready? I gotta go off soon!" Kaneki shouted as he walked out from his room wearing a suit and a tie with a briefcase.

"Yes it's ready!" She shouted back as she poured the omelet rice onto the plate and placed it on the table. One plate for each of them.

Kaneki sat down beside Touka again.

"Touka-chan you should try Mom's cooking. It's delicious." Kaneki spoke as he dug in.

"Hey! Don't talk while you eat!" Mrs Kaneki chided him before turning to Touka and smiling. "Please dig in."

"Okay. Itadakimasu." Touka clapped her hands together. She took a spoonful of omelet rice and chewed.

"It's really delicious!"

"Right?" Kaneki smiled.

Touka blushed and looked back at her plate.

Mrs Kaneki watched them and giggled to herself. "I'm glad it tastes good."

"Gochisousama." Kaneki clapped his hands together and stood up, taking his briefcase.

"Wait!" Touka called out. "Your tie."

Warm... She thought as she fixed his tie and also letting her fingers touch his neck. She felt her cheeks heat up.

"What time will you be back?" After asking, Touka felt embarrassed like she was asking a father when he was coming back.

Kaneki smiled and ran his fingers through her hair, caressing her cheek as well. "I'll try to be back for dinner. Bye."

"Bye."

With that, Kaneki left the house.

Touka sat back down onto her seat and felt her cheeks burn.

Mrs Kaneki giggled. I'll give them more time to fall in love... She thought.

"If only I could repay him for doing so much for me..." Touka mumbled to herself.

"That's right! Touka-chan why don't you go grocery shopping with me later? I'll teach you how to cook Ken's favorite dishes." Mrs Kaneki offered.

Touka's face brightened up. "You will? Thank you!"

I won't be back for dinner. Tell Touka I'm sorry. -Kaneki

Mrs Kaneki turned to Touka and passed her some money to take a cab to Kaneki's office, bringing him his dinner.

...

This is Kaneki-san's company huh? I'm not even surprised anymore. Touka thought as she gazed up at the tall building.

Part 3 done! I'll try to include more descriptions (which I actually suck at) because mostly are dialogue ^^|| hope you're enjoying the story so far!
