Bought [Kaneki x Touka] [Touken]

"That's right. I'm going to call Kaneki now so just wait." Anna walked towards her bag onto the floor, reaching for her phone.

Due to Touka's hands being tied to the chair she's seated on, she can only make use of her legs. She raised them and kicked the phone out of Anna's hands. The phone flew a meter away and dropped. "You bitch!" Anna swung her bag at Touka's head hard.

The bound woman screamed in pain.

"Geez. Stay still. My beautiful fingernails almost broke." Anna said as she blowed on her nails.

She then went over to pick up her phone and dialed Kaneki, turning the speaker on as well.

"What do you want?" A nonchalant tone came from Kaneki. Tears threatened to come out of Touka's eyes as she listened to his listless voice.

"Your little girlfriend is with me so I need you to come over."

"Touka?" There was a hint of happiness in his voice before it died down. "I don't believe you."

"Hai~~ come on say something~" Anna put the phone in front of Touka but she refused to say anything.

Anna clicked her tongue and gestured to Shougo. He punched Touka, making her cry out.

"Touka?!" Kaneki shouted over the phone. "Where is she and what are you doing with her?!" He said in a menacing voice.

"Bring 10 million dollars to the place I'm going to message you or else you'll never get to see her again." With that, Anna hung up.

"He won't..come." Touka wheezed out.

Anna smirked. "Let's see about that."

An hour later...

Kaneki came rushing into the room with a big bag in his hands.

"Release her."

"Let me check the money first."

Shougo went over to get the bag from Kaneki, opening it. He nodded to Anna, confirming that the money is real. He then kicked Kaneki, making him fall to the floor.

He groaned. "W-What's the meaning of this? You're supposed to release her.."

Anna laughed. "And you actually believe that?"

Shougo continued kicking Kaneki until he spat blood out.

Tears rolled down Touka's cheeks. "Stop it..."

Anna laughed hysterically. "See that's sweet. Let's see which one of you will die first!"

A second later, police officers barged into the room and arrested Anna and Shougo.

15mins later...

When the unconscious girl awoke, all she could see was a white ceiling, an hospital attendant on her left and Kaneki on her right squeezing her hand tightly.

"You're going to be fine, Touka. We're on the way to the hospital." Kaneki assured her.

Kaneki had injuries on his face and arms but Touka couldn't gather the energy to ask if he was alright as she felt her consciousness slipping away.

Touka was rushed to the hospital and had to undergo an operation. She was in the operation room for a few hours.

While the operation was ongoing, Ayato came. When he saw Kaneki sitting outside, he grabbed his collar and shouted.

"Hey! I told you if anything happened to her I'll kill you!" Ayato punched Kaneki.

"That's right. I deserve it."

"Darn right you do!" Ayato released Kaneki and sat down onto the bench.

-OPERATION ROOM OPEN-

The doctor asked for the family of Touka and both guys went up to him.

He told the both of them that she's alright and will awake in a month or so.

Ayato only stayed for a while as he had homework to do while Kaneki stayed until the nurses had to ask him to leave.

For the next few weeks, Kaneki came everyday to visit Touka. He would bring flowers every time to brighten up the room and hold her hand tightly, talking to her about the day's events.

Kaneki brought her hand to his mouth and kissed the back of it. "Please wake up soon, I miss hearing your voice."

Touka's finger twitched and she slowly opened her eyes, as though she had heard his plea.

"Touka-chan! Doctor!" Kaneki pressed the button to get the doctor to come and check up on her.

Kaneki smiled, relieved as the doctor told him that Touka can be discharged in around a week.

"Touka-chan.. I'm so glad you're awake." Kaneki held her hand.

She withdrew her hand and Kaneki stared at her, wide-eyed.

"Touka..?"
