The Quaffle was released and the game began. Ginny's heart was racing but she was determined to do her best. Everyone supporting Ginny screamed and cheered from the stands.
Five minutes into the game the opposite team had scored 5 points and Ginny was nervous. She felt responsible for the team losing. Finally the Harpies scored 3 points and were just 2 behind. Nobody had noticed the golden snitch yet but Ginny prayed The Harpies Seeker would find it soon.
After a long 45 minutes the Harpies were losing by 6 points. Gelina, their Seeker, was hunting extremely hard for the snitch but wasn't having any luck. Suddenly The Seeker on the opposite team noticed the Snitch and dived for it. Gelina quickly chased after it too and it became an ugly battle to catch it first. Hands were flying in all directions, and Ginny was pretty sure she saw hair pulling at one point. The crowd began to get a bit rowdy and the stadium was buzzing with noise. Ginny was so engrossed in watching the two girls fight to catch the Snitch she didn't noticed the bludger flying straight for her head.
'LOOK OUT!' A voice shouted from the stands but it was too late, Ginny had blacked out.
