Beach.

Calum has been in Sydney for two days, and Luke gets happier everyday. Luke just feels home for the first time since the bullying begun. He hods Calum's hand everytime when they go out, to show the people that Calum is completely off the market. ''Do you want to go to the beach today, princess?" Luke turns away from his school books. Even though he had break, he had some math and english homework, and looks at Calum. ''I want to, I really do. But people will see the scars and they'll judge me and I can't handle that..'' Luke says, looking down. Calum pouts and walks towards his boyfriend.

He metions for Luke to stand up, and the blond does so. Calum engulfs Luke in a hug, and Luke sighs in content. ''I will protect you, okay?'' Calum says, kissing Luke on the cheek. Luke looks at Calum with watery blue eyes, and opens his mouth, befre closing it again. ''But-''

''No but's. I will protect you, okay?'' Calum says, squeezing Luke's shoulders. 

''Promise?'' Luke says, pinky held up in the air. Calum chuckles, but connects his pinky with Luke's. ''Promise.''

And that's how Luke found himself on the beach. It was a hot day, so a lot of people decided to go to the beach. Especially teenagers. Luke sits on the towel Calum and him share, and looks at Calum as he is laying next to Luke. They are holding hands of course, their hands on Luke's stomach so Luke can hide his scars -''I told you I would prtect you, love.''-.

''Let's go in to the water.'' Luke says, and Calum opens his eyes, full of playfull shock. ''I thought you didn't want to?'' Calum says, standing up and pulling Luke with him. Luke giggles and they walk towards the water. Calum and him walk in until their hips, and Luke splashes Calum. Calum splashes back, and they start a splashing fight.

Everything was going great, until some douche decided to show up. ''How cute, two fags together and one is depressed. Tell me blondie, are you going to commit suicide and bring your boyfriend with you?'' The guy asks, and Calum immediately stands in front of Luke. ''How cute, protecting him?'' The guy asks again, his friends laughing with him. ''Leave.'' Calum says, taking in sharps breaths to not smack the guy in his face. ''You should leave and take that, with you please.'' He points at Luke, and Calum loses it. ''You do not, refer to him as a thing! son of a bitch!'' Calum yells, punching the guy right against the nose. 

The guy groans, and his friends step back in terror. The guy has blood streaming down his face, and Calum smirks at him. ''This is enough, Calum. We'll go and eat dinner somewhere, okay?'' Luke says, but Calum shakes his head. The guy takes a few steps towards Calum again, and before the guy can do anything, Calum kicks him in the stomach. The guy falls over, face first into the water and Luke pulls Calum away.

''You didn't need to do that, Calum. I could've protected myself.'' Luke says, folding up the towel. Calum shrugs. ''Calling us faggots is one thing, but talking about you commiting suicide and referring to you as a thing is just wrong.'' Calum says, slinging an arm around Luke's waist. ''Thank you.'' Luke whispers before kissing Calum on the lips.
