Actual last chapter guys.
Since moving in with Calum, Luke always woke up with a smile. Wrapped in Calum's strong and safe arms, snuggled into his chest.
Not today.
Today Luke wakes up without a smile, but still wrapped in Calum's arms. It wasn't that he didn't want this day to start, it was just that he really didn't want this day to start. Simply because it is his first day on campus. Calum and him stayed up last night until 1AM, on Calum's request, just to make sure that Luke knew where he had to go for classes.
Calum was also nervous, he didn't want people hurting Luke again like they did before.
This summer break has been an amazing time for the two boys. Luke and Calum took off for a week with a rented van. Luke brought all his art supplies and they just drove. Every now and then they would stop, and Luke would paint or draw the beautiful sights. Calum would watch him do this, or he would just sit next to his blond boyfriend and watch the scenery, and just thinking.
After they got home from that week, Luke and Michael started their own painting. It isn't completely finished yet, but it is getting there. So far, a silhouette is visible on the huge canvas, and behind the silhouette is a beautiful blue sea, that represent the color of Luke's eyes. Luke is content in Melbourne, he is happy.
Luke is also almost three months clean. And Calum couldn't be more proud of him. Of course, when they lay in bed or go shower together, Calum sees his old scars. He always kisses them, letting Luke know that he's proud of him. Luke would cry or hug Calum and thank him for what he has done to help him.
"Good morning, Princess." Luke smiles at the nickname, and looks up to face Calum. "Good morning, honey." He responds, kissing Calum's cheek. Lately, Luke has the habit to call Calum honey. And Calum absolutely adores it. "Morning breath, sweetheart." Calum groans, making Luke giggle.
"Let's go brush our teeth then, shall we?" Calum nods at Luke's genius idea, and slowly gets up. "How late does your class start again?" Luke groans, Calum made sure last night that Luke would know where to go and how late to be there. "9:45, so I have to be on campus at least 10 minutes before that." Calum cheers, and kisses Luke on the cheek as he passes him by.
"You're annoying sometimes, honey."
"Funny how you call me annoying but still use the word honey." Calum smiles at Luke, who rolls his eyes at his kiwi boyfriend. "Don't roll your eyes, they might pop out!" Calum fakes the worried tone in his voice, and Luke smiles at his weird boyfriend.
"Pancakes or cornflakes?" Calum asks, walking into the kitchen, followed by Michael and Luke. "Pancakes!" Calum chuckles at his roommate and his boyfriend, but still grabs the ingredients.
"Excited for your first day?" Michael smiles at Luke, who nervously nods and puts the three plates on the table. "Rather nervous." He responds, and Calum sighs. "They'll love you, don't worry love." Calum says, putting one pancake on Luke's plate, and kisses his cheek.
"Yeah, and if they don't, me and Calum will kick some asses." Michael says, making Luke giggle. "Cal, when is your first fashion show again?" Michael asks after a few minutes of casual chatting.
"Tomorrow night. I am honestly so nervous." Calum says, and Luke smiles proudly at him. "You'll do fine, honey." Luke reassures Calum, making the raven haired boy nod. "Which brand was it again?" The curious little shit Michael is, asks.
"Actually, it's the sports wear from Calvin Klein. But my manager said that more brands, like Louis Vuitton, want me to model for them." Luke gasps, just hearing the news. "That is so cool!" He yelps, hugging Calum. "Congrats mate, maybe now our life will go good for once."
