Chapter Ten

Mia's Mom P.O.V

I was waiting for Mia to come home from her day around the village with Alex. She had grown up so much and I am happy I got to see her again. I heard some noises outside the door so I decided to listen in.

"Hey thanks for taking me to meet your mom. It was a bit weird but she is a great person." Mia said. 

"So is your mom. She is a great pack leader and person." Alex said which made me smile since my goal is to make sure my pack is happy. After a while I didn't hear any noise and then I heard slight kissing noises. I smiled at the fact that my baby girl has found her mate. I opened the door and saw there foreheads touching but they quickly pulled away.

"Well good night Alex I will see you tomorrow." Mia walked inside and I smiled at Alex.

"Hey I saw that and I am happy she chose a boy like you." After that I shut the door and saw that Mia went to bed. I went up to her room to ask her about what happened. 

Mia's P.O.V

I walked inside and straight to my room. I was changing for bed when I heard a knock on the door. I slipped on my shirt and shorts then answered it. 

"Hey mom what's up?" I asked and she smiled.

"I heard you and Alex outside the door." She said and I turned scarlet red. "I am happy you decided on him as your mate." She had a sparkle in her eye.

"M-M-Mom it's not l-like that!" I stuttered. It was embarrassing to have my mom talking about his with me.

"Its ok honey. This is perfectly normal and if you haven't decided if he is you mate or not yet you will know soon." After that she walked out of the room and I was just sitting there. Was Alex my mate? I mean the kiss was amazing and I like being around him? Am I in love with Alex? I fell face first onto my bed and fell asleep.

I woke up and found a note by my bedside. I picked it up and read it.

Dear Mia, 

I went out for a bit to take care of a couple things. I will be meeting you tonight at the dance to honor you arrival. Alex will be escorting you to the main hall. Also find yourself a dress for tonight. 

Love Mom

I put down the note and began making my self some breakfast. After about 5 minutes I heard a knock on the door. When I opened it I found Gemma.

"When were you going to tell me you and Alex were mates!" She yelled. I pulled her into the house and shut the door.

"where the hell did you hear that?!?" I yelled back. 

"Doesn't matter, now spill. give me all the details." She followed me into the kitchen and sat at the table.

"Well you see we Kissed and it felt amazing but I never said we were mates." I said and she gave me a frown. "It was probably an in the moment type of thing." She hen gave me the Are-You-Stupid- look.

"Whatever anyways what are you wearing for the dance?" She said with a huge smile on her face. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I haven't chosen yet." I said. "You wanna help me?" Without another word Gemma dragged me into my room. A few moment later sh came in with racks of dresses. I stared at her dumbfounded. What the fuck did I get myself into?!?
