EPILOGUE

3 years later__________________________________________________________________________

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Ariel, happy birthday to you!!!" "Make a wish Ariel, but don't tell anyone!!" Izaya urged. Ariel had nothing to wish for, since she already got what she wanted. She finally has a family to call her own! It has been 3 and a half years since Shizuo and Izaya decided to take Ariel in. Now the three of them live together in a pretty house with a giant backyard with shizuo's dog named Buddy that he had found shortly after quitting a color gang called the dollars, and Izaya's cat named Tails. In the past three years, Izaya is still working as an information broker as a hobby, and stays home doing the cooking and cleaning. Shizuo has stopped working as a bodyguard for the debt collector. He actually got fired, because he some how lost his monster strength. Actually, Shinra found something very interesting in the blood sample that he had taken from shizuo when they had first found shizuo. It turns out, Shizuo has nothing in his blood that gave him his monster strength, it's just that once he lost Ariel in the beginning and Izaya became his enemy, He was so upset and angry, that he let his anger get the best of him, which had caused the monster strength to begin with. The reason he doesn't have it anymore, is because now that Ariel is back, he finally has peace with himself, and he's now a calm normal person living a normal life. It's what he had always wanted. Now Shizuo had gotten an old job back and finally has use for his bartender suit, because he works at a bar again. At first, Izaya was worried he was gonna come home late drunk, but after a while, Izaya got used to it, and became the female of the house. although, just because he acts like a girl and is dating shizuo, it does not mean he doesn't get into trouble and mischief once in a while. As for Shinra and Celty, Celty is going to be having her own children soon. Celty is 4 months pregnant with two girl twins, and Shinra is so excited!! When Ariel found out, Shinra talked on and on about the twins. Shinra and Celty had names for the Twins too!! Arianna, and Skyler. Celty is very nervous, but she's glad to be able to get a break from her job as a transporter. As for Ariel, she is now 12 years old going into 7th grade with her new best friend Skyler. Ariel is also getting used to the chores that need to be  done around the house, the groundings, the rules, and just being in a family in general. The one chore that she actually doesn't mind, would be taking care of Buddy. She especially likes giving him bathes because she gets to put on a bathing suit. You see, Buddy is a big dog, and a messy one at that. Buddy is a German Shepherd mix. He loves the water, and is very strong. Shizuo rescued Buddy from a shelter, and took him home. Buddy loves everyone and everything. He also loves playing with other dogs. Buddy is so friendly, he went up to a hedgehog, and poor Buddy was stuck home for a week because he got the needles stuck in his paws!! As for Izaya's cat Tails, She is a tiny black kitten that Izaya was fostering and got so attached, he just couldn't give her up. Tails is very spoiled, and She'll eat anything we give her. She also loves her humans as much as herself! During the afternoon and at night before bed, you could usually find Buddy and Tails curled up together either near the fireplace, or on the couch snuggled up with each other. Since Shizuo and Izaya had a pet of their own, Ariel wanted one to. She kept bringing up the situation to Izaya and Shizuo, but they would shrug her off and tell her that maybe for her birthday or christmas. Since it was Ariel's birthday, she was really excited about it. Ariel was ripped out of her thoughts when Shizuo tapped her on the shoulder and told her to go to the center of the room. Now Ariel was excited, because that only meant one thing. It's time for the presents!!! This was Ariel's favorite part about birthday parties whether she was the one receiving the gifts, or someone else was. Ariel sprung up out of her chair and raced to the center of the room, her party hat falling off her head. As she was running, Izaya picked her up and started laughing. "woah, slow down there sweetie! the presents aren't going anywhere!" Izaya put her down and laughed. Shizuo looked on with an amused look. Ariel sat down in the center of the room, and the first present came up. The box was heavy and medium sized. She was also hoping for a computer since she didn't have one yet. She tore the colored wrapping paper off, and smiled. It was the exact computer she was looking at in a technology magazine!!! She thanked the person, and one by one opened up her gifts. She finally got to her parents gifts, and instead of having one gift like usual, there were multiple. The gifts were very peculiar too. The gifts were cat toys, a cat bed, cat food, a carrier, and finally, the last present. Ariel was pretty sure she knew what was in the box. All of a sudden, the box moved, and a tiny pink nose popped out of one of the holes. Ariel laughed and took off the lid. She gasped at the tiny orange and white kitten staring up at her with the prettiest blue eyes she's ever seen. the kitten also had a small green bow in her hair. Ariel grabbed the kitten in her arms, and looked at her two fathers. Shizuo and Izaya smiled at Ariel. "We knew how much you wanted your own pet, and proved it to us by taking care of Buddy and Tails. You also did other chores around the house which showed how responsible you were. When we went to the pet store to pick out your cat, we just knew that the little girl you're holding in your arms would be perfect for you." Shizuo said, getting up to hug Ariel. Ariel took the kitten, and ran to shizuo and Izaya. They all had a group hug, and sat down again. Her friend Skyler, who was there gazing at the kitten piped up and asked, What are you gonna name her? Ariel paused. She hadn't thought of a name yet. All of a sudden, she had the perfect name for her darling kitten. Tiger. She loved the name. Ariel asked everyone what they they thought of the name, and they all loved it. Shinra and Celty were there two. Celty has found her head, which Izaya reluctantly gave to her. Cely is as beautiful as ever, and she actually gained weight since she is gonna have kids. Shinra and Celty's present would be one Ariel would never forget. The present was something that Celty made. It was a charm bracelet with Ariel's, Shizuo's, and Izaya's name in silver. Ariel will cherish this bracelet forever. That night when the party was over and everyone left except skyler since she was staying over, The two girls got ready for bed, and they talked and played on Ariel's new computer for hours. Ariel's room is huge, with a king sized bed, hardwood floors, a massive walk in closet, her own bathroom, and a giant window seating that overlooks the forest behind their house. Ariel painted her bedroom walls midnight blue, with a silver wolf with a star necklace around the wolf's head. she has glowing star stickers and a glowing moon stuck to her ceiling to make it look like the night sky. She also had a giant book stand with new books that she got during the party, with a huge television set hooked up to and x box 1. When Ariel and Skyler went to bed, Ariel couldn't sleep. Ariel got up making sure to not wake up her friend in the process and went to her window seat that she uses for thinking. She laid down on the pink plush seat with her pink pillow, and closed her eyes to think. Ariel thought about her amazing day, her new kitten, her wonderful family, and how far she had gotten in just a couple of years. Before Ariel new it, she had drifted off to sleep.
