What happened??

Izaya and shizuo raced to the hospital to see Ariel. Shinra said that he couldn't help her because there was nothing that he could do, the hospital had to take control. Both boys ran into the lobby panting. Shinra and Celty were already there, so they sat down with them. "We need details!!" Shizuo and Izaya said at the same time. "First off, why is Izaya here shizuo?" Shinra asked surprised that the informant has joined. "We're dating dip shit!!!" Shizuo growled, pissed off. Shinra was wide eyed for a second. "We will talk about that later..." Shinra said slowly. "Just get to the point with Ariel!!!" Shizuo screamed, people glancing they're way. "Well, Ariel was playing and dancing around on the side walk, and she was walking backwards, and she.... Tripped..." Shinra said, looking down guiltily. The four of them sat quietly together. Celty was playing with the buttons on her phone to entertain herself, Shinra was writing things down, shizuo was at the vending machine, and even Izaya was sitting quietly watching everything. "Ugh why is it taking so long to hear if she's ok!!" Shizuo grumbled, pissed about waiting. 'Im seriously going to track down the person who hit this child!!' Shizuo thought. The thought made shizuo feel better. "Ariel is in surgery. She was run over. Her arm, legs, torso, and chest were messed up, so she is in surgery." Shinra said, leaning back with his eyes closed. If Celty had a face, she would be in tears. She loved the kid. The four of them had chips and water while they waited. Izaya had to work, so he went home, and brought his laptop with him, and brought three boxes of sushi with him. The four of them waited three long agonizing hours, before the doctor came out. "Are you guys here for Ariel?" The doctor asked. "Yes. We are the guardians of Ariel." Shinra explained. "Well, Ariel is..." The doctor checked his clip board "alive. You can see her now, but be gentle with her. She was banged up pretty badly." The doctor exclaimed. The five of them walked through the rows of rooms. There were so many twists and turns, that shizuo lost count. Finally they reached Ariel's room. 'Room 157' shizuo thought to himself. Shizuo was in this room when he got hit by a car before. 'Well, I guess that pretty lucky' shizuo thought to himself. They walked into the room, and were all relieved that Ariel had only a cast, and a couple stitches. Izaya sat down, and started working on his computer. The doctor said that she would probably be sleeping for a couple days, since the drugs were hard core drugs. The doctor gave Shinra and Celty a cot to share, and Izaya and shizuo one to share. Shinra and Celty, and shizuo laid down and fell asleep, while Izaya stayed up and worked in the computer. After a while, the only noise that you could hear, was Izaya clicking away on the key board. The nurses kept coming in to check in Ariel through the night, and kept trying to get Izaya fall asleep with no such luck. Izaya kept telling the nurses that it was his job, but they didn't want to listen. After awhile, they gave up, and Izaya kept working. In the morning, Izaya got up, and went to the cafeteria and got pancakes and orange juice for everyone. Shizuo was the first one up, then Shinra, and finally Celty. The four of them ate the bland pancakes in silence. Shizuo decided to take the day off from work, so that he can be here for when Ariel woke up.the day was pretty boring, but tense at the same time. Shinra, Celty, and Izaya were going out to grab food from the store, so shizuo was alone in the room by himself. Shizuo grabbed out his fairy book, and started reading. After a while, shizuo couldn't figure out if he was imagining it, or if Ariel was talking in her sleep. Shizuo slowly went up to the sleeping girl, and stood there. For a second shizuo thought he was crazy, until he heard dad. Shizuo stared bewildered at the girl. "Daddy.... Shizuo... Mommy... Daddy... Izaya..." She kept mumbling those words Over and over. Shizuo was shocked at this. He didn't know what to do. After a while, she stopped mumbling and turned over on her side. Shizuo sat back down, and tried to concentrate on his book, but he couldn't. All he could think about, was what Ariel was mumbling. 'What doeds it mean!!!' shizuo thought to himself. He finally concentrated on his book, and got lost in the magical world. Twenty minutes later, shizuo heard the Izaya and the others talking and coming down the hall. Shizuo put his book away, and pretended to sleep. "Man... I wish Ariel would just wake up already. Aww!!! Look!!! Shizu~chan is sleeping!!!" Shizuo heard Izaya gush. Shizuo tried not to smirk and blush, while Izaya rambled on and on about shizuo. Then, shizuo felt someone shrug his shoulder. 'Should I tell them about Ariel mumbling??? No they would just think I'm crazy!!' Shizuo thought to himself. "Mmm...." Shizuo grumbled. Izaya chuckled. "Come on shizu~chan!!! We have food!!" Izaya taunted. Shizuo eyes drifted open. He fake yawned and got up. Shizuo looked at the mountain of food that they had bought. Shinra and the others had bought McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, sushi, water, and chips. Shizuo hungrily grabbed a bag of chips, water, and a burger from McDonald's. The rest grabbed food too and started eating. The doctor cane in a few minutes later, and announced good news. "Ariel should be waking up soon!!" The doctor said, rambling on and on about the medications and everything else. Luckily, Shinra was writing down all the information, much to Izaya protests, because shizuo wasn't really paying attention, other than the part where Ariel would be waking up on a couple hours. Those hours were very agonizing, but finally the time came. The group was just sitting down, talking, when they heard Ariel yawn. Ariel's eyes fluttered open. "Daddy1? Dady2?" Ariel yawned looking at shizuo and Izaya.
