The client

As izaya reached the meeting spot, he gripped his knife tight. He was scared that if he let it go, he would get hurt. 'Screw this. I'm going home.' Izaya thinks to himself. He's just about to turn around, when someone steps in front of him. "Are you the info broker izaya orihara?" Izaya hears a menacing guy say. To be honest, he actually felt a little intimidated. "Yep. That's me." Izaya said, not letting any emotions through. "Hmm.... I don't trust that you won't take the money without giving me information.... I'll just Tie you up with these!!" The man says with a devilish smirk. Izaya looked closely and realized that they were restraints. Izaya gulped and backed up a little. "C-can't I just give you t-the information and then y-you give the money??!" Izaya stuttered. Izaya knew that his knife can't cut threw that metal. "Nah. That wouldn't be fun would it??" The man laughed and smirked. Izaya felt true fear. He's never been in THIS situation before. Sure, he's been threatened to get shot, stabbed, and killed, but never to this extreme. Izaya stepped back again, but he met the wall. The guy laughed. He bound the restraints around his wrist and legs. His knife was taken from his pocket, and thrown away. "Now... I want the information. Tell me about that little girl. It is all people talk about. Tell me now!!" The man growled. "I-I don't know!!! I was looking into it, but you stopped me and called me!" Izaya trembled. "Then tell me who she belongs to!!!!!" The guy screamed. 'How can people not hear this!!' Izaya thought to himself. "I don't know!!! I was trying to figure that out myself!!!!" Izaya screamed. Izaya was beyond scared. 'What if I don't make it out of this?!' Izaya thought to himself. The guy pulled out a gun and a knife. Since izaya was bound and chained to the wall; the man can move freely. "Which do you think would hurt more?" The guy asked laughing a sinister laugh. Izaya didn't answer. The guy took the knife and slowly dragged it across his chest. "Hmmm... I'm going to take this jacket off. It will make this job a lot easier. If you struggle, you will get more pain, so I suggest you do exactly as I say." The man hissed. The guy ripped off izayas jacket and pushed the blade deeper in his chest. Izaya whimpered in pain. "Shut the hell up or I'll make sure to give you a slow and painful death. Izaya stopped whimpering and bit his lip. 'Shizuo!! Save me!!!' Izaya thought. Izaya guessed he said that out loud, because the guy laughed and said, "you want your daddy to come save you??? Pathetic!!!! I'll give you one chance to scream and if he doesn't come in ten minutes, your dead." Izaya took that chance and screamed as loud as he can. "SHIZUO!!! SAVE ME!!!!" izaya closed his eyes as the guy pushed the knife deeper in his chest. Izaya was now bleeding heavily and he felt dizzy. He opened his eyes again as he felt the guy suddenly get off him. Izaya saw shizuo throw the guy into the wall and punch him. "Don't EVER touch him again!!!!" Shizuo screamed. Izaya felt relieved that he was saved. But also embarrassed that shizuo had to save him as well. Izaya eyes were getting heavier and heavier by the second. "Hang in there flea. Don't fall asleep." Shizuo muttered. Shizuo unbound the restaraints and grabbed izayas knife and jacket. He picked izaya up, being careful not to make the wound worse, and walked all the way to shinras.
----------------Time skip-------------------
At shinras, shizuo knocked on the door, hoping that shinra was home. "Ahh shizuo you here to pick up Arie-..." Shinra stopped mid sentence staring at the scene in front of him. "What happened bring him in and lay him in the couch!!!" Shinra said rushing to grab his medical bag. Shizuo does as he's told and lays izaya on the couch. "I don't know what happened. I was just walking home from the bar, and I heard him scream my name and to save him. When I got over there, he was tied up in restraints and bleeding from his chest. The guy who held him captive, stabbed him with a knife, and was about to shoot him." Shizuo finished. Shinra was lost with words, as he tried to fix izaya up. Shinra hooked him up with an iv and cleaned the wound. When he was done, he put a bandage over the wound and cleaned up. After he finished, he sat down next to shizuo. Izaya was knocked out cold, and had a soft expression on his face. 'This is the only time where I don't want to throw a truck at the flea.' Shizuo thought to himself. "Wow... I can't believe he got cornered like that!! He usually always knows what to do!!" Shinra says, with a hunt of concern in his eyes. At that moment, Ariel walked in the room with Celty, and both if them stopped at the scene infringing if them. "What happened to izaya!!!" Ariel asked, worried expression on her face. "Izaya got hurt during his job, hell be fine." Shinra says gently. Shinra knew that Ariel had some special bond connected between shizuo and izaya. "Good." Ariel says, with a relieved expression on her face. "Shizuo, you could go if you want, izaya is ok here." Shinra says nervously. Shinra doesn't want izaya to wake up and mess with shizuo. "I'll stay. Even if it meansling with his attitude when he wakes up." Shizuo says, surprising everyone in the room.

After about an hour, izaya finally come around. "Ugggghh...." Izaya groans. "What happened??" Izaya askes. He seriously can't remember what happened. The last thing izaya remembers was meeting a client. Now he finds himself with an iv in his arm, and his chest hurting badly. 'Ehat happened to me and why am I at shinras apartment??' Izaya askes himself. "You were held captive by your client, and shizuo saved you." Shinra says. Celty and Ariel go back in the kitchen so that shizuo and Shinra can talk to izaya. Everything came back to izaya and he paled. "Where's my knife and jacket??" Izaya askes. Shizuo hands izaya his things. "T-thanks shizuo." Izaya stutters looking down. He doesn't care that his emotions are slipping. Shizuo already seen this side of him, and Shinra is his friend, so it doesn't even matter. 'I love shizuo heiwajima.' Izaya is shocked by his thoughts. He really does love shizuo. Shizuo and Shinra are surprised by izayas behavior. Izaya never stutters or looks down. He doesn't even have a smirk on his face. "Are you feeling ok? I mean, even though you got stabbed?" Shinra asks nervously. He's never seen izaya like this before, and shinras known him since middle school!! Shizuo is completely dumbfounded to talk. 'What is wrong with izaya?!!??' Shinra and shizuo think at the same time. "I'm fine. Just a little shaken from that experience. That's never happened before." Izaya answers honestly. Shizuo is astonished that izaya didn't give any smart remarks or be a wise ass. 'He must have been really scared for him to be acting this way.' Shizuo thinks to himself. Just then, izaya bursts into tears, and grabs shizuo into a hug. Shizuo and shinra both look at izaya concerningly. Shizuo hugs izaya back. It's a little uncomfortable for shizuo to be hugging his enemy. 'But maybe it's something more.' Shizuo thinks to himself. Shizuo is shocked at what just ran threw his mind. But it's true. As izayas tears subsided, shinra gave shizuo a bottle of medication for izaya. "This is pain killers for his chest." Shinras says. Izaya and shizuo walk out the door, and shizuo calls a cab to drop them off at izayas place. When they reach his apartment, they have dinner, and izaya goes to bed. Shizuo lays on the couch flipping through the Chanel's. Nothing good is on, and shizuo is about to turn off the tv, when he realize that he can see what happened to izaya on the news tv. He flips to that Chanel and watches intently. "Guy found in a dark ally way. Daniel Grey explains that an information broker was supposed to tell him about the little girl that looks exactly like shizuo heiwajima, when he tied up the broker in restaraints and tried to rape and kill him. Daniel Grey is now sentenced to 5 years in jail in America. Now, the story of how a guy escaped a fire in-" shizuo turns off the tv, to stunned to think properly. Izaya was harassed!!!!! Shizuo hears the bedroom door being opened and turns to see izaya staring at him. "What?" Shizuo asks, a little annoyed with getting stared at. Izaya runs to the bathroom and locks the door. "Well then...." Shizuo mutters. Izaya comes out a few minutes later. Shizuo, can I have a pain killer?? My chest hurts." Izaya asks. Looking down at the floor. 'No nick name???!!!' Shizuo thinks to himself. It's hard for shizuo to not be angry at izaya, after hearing his story and by the way he's acting. Shizuo gets up and grabs the bottle. Izaya takes a pill and chugs it done with water.

------------Time skip 1 month------------
After a while, izaya got better, and started acting normal again, except, he didn't bother shizuo that much anymore, and shizuo was starting to think that izaya loves him!!! Shizuo wonders if he should confront izaya.
