Emily Bailey is a normal 17 year old. She lives with her mom Debbie and two younger brothers. One brother is 4 years old and his name is Jack. The other one's name is Micheal and he's 10. She hasn't had the easiest life growing up. She never had a loving dad. She always had a father, a sperm donor. He left after her mom got pregnant with Jack. Ever since then Emily has been helping around the house so her mom can work. Her mom works two jobs. She works as a maid at a hotel from 5 am to 3 pm. She also works as a waitress at a really nice restaurant from 7 pm to 11 pm. Emily does everything for her brothers. She wakes them up for school and makes sure they ate then gets them to school on time. Not only that if mom cant fix them dinner Emily will cook. She makes sure they've done their homework, had showers, and are in bed at bedtime. Emily doesn't believe in love not only that she doesn't have time for love. After seeing how her mom was treated with her dad she hates the idea of love.
Brandon Merrick is your normalish 18 year old guy. By that I mean he's not your everyday guy. He's an Alpha of a huge pack in Washington State. He doesn't have a mom. She died a couple years back when he was 16. Brandon's dad couldn't handle the loss of his mate so he stepped down. At only age 16 Brandon knew that having a mate meant everything to everyone. Being an Alpha you need a mate. It's alright not to have one to start off with but he's 18 now. His best friend Andy is his Beta. His brother is his third in command. His name is Mason. Now Brandon has always had what he wanted. Didn't have to work for anything. But being Alpha taught him many things. Taught him how to be work for his goals. He's a pretty good Alpha. He checks up on his neighboring packs from time to time to make sure nothing goes wrong and if they need help. He's ruthless when it comes to rogues though. He does not let them slip by him. He's still trying to get pay back on the rogue that killed his mom. Brandon doesn't know how to cook its always been done for him.
Emily is Shy and keeps to herself. Doesn't believe in love. Always busy. Cares more about others then herself. Puts others first.
Brandon is outgoing and protective oh did I mention he's also possessive? Well he is. Believes in love. Always busy. Care about others and puts self first.
