Emily's pov
Its been a couple hours since he left to handle the rogues and all I want is him here with me. They keep asking me if I want to talk to him but I don't want to bug him. I know he's busy so I don't want him to worry about me just because I want him in my arms. "Do you know why he put you guys in here? I'm pretty sure you guys have better things to do." I said after not talking for hours.
"Luna we would do anything to just to protect you. You are our Alpha's mate but not only that you are our Luna. We will always protect you. We would never let anything happen to you. You make this pack whole." Mike commented.
"Yeah Em. We all love you. You make this pack whole. Not only that but you make my brother happy." Angie added getting up from Mike's lap to give me a hug. I just couldn't hold in the tears anymore. "Oh sweetie what's wrong?"
"Didn't realize how much you guys need me. I've been held up in here taking care of my brothers or with Brandon. Not once did I think of seeing you guys." I cried. The tears just wouldn't stop coming.
Angies pov
'Why is Emily crying?!' Brandon growled out in mind-link to me and Mike. I was just holding her while she was crying. She doesn't let her tears out that often. Only time she does is if its really serious.
'She said it was because she didn't realize that the pack needs her as much as you and her brothers need her.' I answered.
'I think she's hiding something. I'm sure she's missing you.' Mike added.
'Can you please tell her I'll be there in one more hour?' Brandon pleaded. I looked down to see that Emily fell asleep and I opened up my mind so he could see what I see. 'Maybe I'll be home before she wakes up.'
'Hurry home. She needs you to be here for her. Emily stays strong for everyone but she needs you to be there for her at her weakest.' I informed him. I heard his whimper and knew I hit home.
Brandon's pov
*Before his conversation with Angie*
We have killed all the rogues but one. We are going to take him back to the dungeon so we can torture him and try to get him to talk. "Do not touch him until I get there." I growled out at them. I know they were here to hurt my mate and I will not let that happen. I felt a sudden pain in my heart. I fell down and whimpered.
"Alpha are you okay?" asked one of my best fighters Jake.
"My mate." was all I was able to whimper out. He probably thought something bad happened to her because he started to panic.
'Why is Emily crying?' I growled out into mind-link to my sister and her mate.
'She said it was because she didn't realize that the pack needs her as much as you and her brothers need her.' I answered.
'I think she's hiding something. I'm sure she's missing you.' Mike added.
'Can you please tell her I'll be there in an hour?' I pleaded with them.
Annie opened up her mind so I could see Emily asleep with her head on her lap. 'Maybe I'll be home before she wakes up.'
'Hurry home. She needs you to be here for her. Emily stays strong for everyone but she needs you to be there for her at her weakest.' Annie stated. I whimpered. I looked up to see Jake still standing there making sure I was okay.
"She feels bad that she hasn't spent time with the pack and it made her cry. But my sister and her mate are pretty sure that there is more to it." I informed Jake.
"We understand why she doesn't hang out with us. She has brothers to take care of and living with werewolves and being important to a pack is still knew to her. You have to make sure she knows that we understand." Jake informed me. I know hes right.
"I'm going to head home. She needs me." I informed Jake.
"Do you still want us wait to torture him?" He asked.
"I want you to be there and make sure you get information out of him." I told him. Jake nodded. We shifted into our wolfs and ran back to the pack house. Once we shifted back I went to up the stairs while he went to the dungeon. Once I got up stairs I seen that Emily was still asleep. "How is she?"
"She's whimpered a few times but other then that she seems to be okay." Annie replied. I nodded and walked over to the closet so I could put some clothes on. I grabbed some underwear and a t-shirt.
"You guys are dismissed." I said once I climbed in bed with Emily. I heard the door close silently. I fell asleep with her in my arms not to long later.
