Brandon's pov

I really wanted Emily to sit up front with me but I do understand why she didn't. Her brothers come first. Once we got to the diner I wanted to take her to I realized how nervous I really was. I made sure I took her to a restaurant were werewolves hung out. I do not need anyone gawking at me when I try to tell her who I am and everything else she needs to know. I parked the car and got out. I went to the side Emily was and opened the door for her. She smiled at me as thanks. She hoped out of the vehicle and helped her brothers out. Jack was talking to dad and dad was actually smiling and laughing. I hadn't seen him like that for years. "I forgot my manners." Dad said to Emily while handing Jack off to Emily. My name is Zach Merrick."

"Oh it's fine." Emily smiled warmly at my dad. "It's a pleasure to meet you Zach. I tell Jack has takin a liking to you." They walked into the restaurant together not bothering waiting for me. I groaned when Mason started laughing walking over to me.

"Dad... Has.. Better... Game... Then... You... And... She's... Your... Mate... " Mason said laughing. I glared at him and seen Angie already inside sitting with them. I dragged a laughing Mason inside.

"Good evening Alpha." A pack member greated me bowing her head in respect. Emily was watching the whole thing looking confused. I heard what she was saying to my father with my werewolf hearing.

"My did the waitress bow her head?" Emily asked looking really confused. I sighed and walked over to her.

"I guess the explaining needs to start now." I commented walking up to the table. Emily looked startled but did say anything.

"Do you believe in werewolves?" I asked.

"I do!" Jack shouted excitedly. "I also wanted to meet one."

"I believe in them to." Micheal commented. He laid his head on Emily's shoulder. My wolf was howling in pain. We know that's her brother but we want to be able to do that to.

"I don't." Emily answered.

"Then you may not believe me then." I told her. Emily was just waiting for me to explain.

"Don't tell me you believe in them too?" Emily asked in disbelief. I don't really blame her. If I was her I would think an 18 year old was crazy if they believed in creature's that didn't exist.

"I do because I've seen one." I answered. Dad gived me a look telling me to cut the crap. "I've seen one because I am one. We are." I waved my hand around at my family and the pack members in the restaurant. I knew they were listening to the conversation I mean who wouldn't. I know they just want to know who their Alpha decided to bring out on a "date". Emily just nodded taking in the information.

"Go on." Emily said after a few moments when I stayed quiet.

"As a werewolf we have wolf's that are apart of us. They are in our heads. As any other wolf we have packs. We have an Alpha and Luna. They are usually brought together from being mates. They are pretty much royalty in the werewolf world. The second high highest would be the Beta. The beta well have a mate to and his mate will be the female beta. Then we have the third in command and so fourth. Then we have warriors." I explained. I know I wasn't explaining any of this good but it's the basics. Jack and Micheal looked shocked but Emily looked confused.

"Mates?" Emily questions.

"As werewolves we have mates." Dad informed.

"We have a mate bond." Angie added.

"It get's stronger once we marked and completed the mating bond." Mason added looking at Emily.

"Why are you telling me this?" She asked.

"Because your my mate." I told her. I watched her confused impression turn to shock then to realization.

"The sparks? The look we shared?" Emily asked trying to put everything together. "The pain when I didn't see you this week?"

"The look would be my wolf realizing you are our mate. Those two comes with being mates." I informed her. Emily nodded slowly.

"Why are you telling me this? But does he mean mark? Bond?" Emily questioned. She no longer looked confused.

"I'm telling you this because you are my mate. I'm telling you this because my pack needs you. What Mason means by marking is I would claim you as mine. Claim you as mine so no other male can bother you. The sparks and the irritability would be the pain in the ass of the mate bond. That comes from being so far away from ones mate." I explained.

"Okay this is starting to......Wait your pack?" Emily asked shocked. Oops.

"Brandon here is the Alpha of the pack." Dad informed Emily put her head on the table. The waitress came by finally to get our drink orders.

"What can I get you guys to drink tonight?" She asked sweetly.

"I'll take a sweet tea." Dad told her.

"I'll take a coke." Mason answered still looking at Emily.

"I'll take a Mountain Dew." Micheal answered her. He looked really worried about his sister.

"I'll take a water." Jack's small voice answered. The waitress smiled warmly at the little boys.

"Dr.pepper no ice please." Emily whispered but I know the waitress heard her.

"And for you Alpha?" The waitress asked. She didn't even try to flirt and that's what makes me glad.

"Ice tea." I answered never looking up at her.

"Do you guys know what you want to eat?" She asked looking at Emily. We all looked at that side of the table. Emily picked up her head and looked at the boys.

"Do you guys know what you want to eat?" Emily asked them. They nodded.

"Do you have a regular hamburger?" Jack asked.

"We sure do sweetie." She answered smiling.

"Do you have one for little kids?" Emily asked. The waitress nodded. "Then he'll take one with ketchup."

"I'll take a plain hamburger with ketchup and cheese." Micheal ordered. Emily just kept looking at the table and didn't bother ordering.

"I'll take a cheeseburger with extra cheese." Angie answered smiling.

"I'll have the same." Mason told her.

"I'll take a steak." Dad ordered.

"I'll take the same. Medium." I ordered.

"Two mediums?" She asked. I just nodded noticing Emily hasn't ordered yet. "And you ma'm?"

"Nothing for me. Thank you though." Emily answered. The waitress looked startled that Emily didn't order anything and thanked her. She nodded and went to put our order in. Micheal was giving Emily worried looks. What's that about?

"Are you not hungry?" Dad asked.

"I'm not hungry." Emily answered. Dad didn't look convinced. "So tell me more about you guys being werewolf's." I looked around at the other werewolves in the place and they didn't look pleased that their Luna didn't want to eat.

"You do realize that me being Alpha makes you Luna right?" I questioned. I know I need to get some some research done on my mate. She's such a huge mystery.

"I realize that. It's still sinking in." Emily mumbled.

"Well not all werewolves are in packs." Angie said switching out of the awkward conversation that we need to have away from everyone. "Those wolfs are called Rogues."

"They can be very dangerous." Mason added.

"Some times rogues get together and try to break down packs." Dad added. The boys looked interested in the information while Emily looked distracted.

"Emily are you okay?" I asked. Emily looked over at Micheal and made a motion with her hands which caused him to get up quickly.

"I'll be back. Just need to go to the um.. Bathroom." Emily said quickly running to the bathroom. Micheal looked panicked while Jack seemed to be in his own little world.

"Why do you look panicked?" I asked Micheal. Micheal looked like he was thinking about what to say to us.

"Emily has..." Micheal stopped looking for the right words to describe his sister. "problems." He didn't look pleased with the word put went with it.

"What do you mean?" Dad asked speaking up. I was starting to panic now. Micheal rubbed his neck nervously.

"Emily has depression, anxiety, migraines, self harm problems, asthma, and she's not really anorexic but pretty darn close." Micheal explained looking towards the way Emily walked. He didn't realize that everyone in the restaurant had stiffened at his words. They were already protective of their Luna and I'm glad about that.

Emily's pov

Once I left the table I looked the bathroom doors. I didn't want anyone walking in on my panic attack. I can't be a Luna to a pack. I do pretty good leading the boys to the right places but how will I lead werewolves? I don't even know much about them. My heart sped up and it was getting hard to breathe. I quickly grabbed paper towels and wet them with water before I sat on the ground trying to breathe. "Are you okay sweetie?" asked a sweet voice. I looked up still trying to stop the panic attack from coming. I wasn't able to talk to so I just nodded my head. "You don't look okay." My heart felt like it was coming out of my throat so couldn't talk to her. She squatted beside me. She took one of the wet paper towels and started gently putting it on my head. She reminded me of my grandma. "Are you here with someone?" I nodded. "Who?" I was trying to get my voice back.

"Alpha." was all I could croak out. The lady looked shocked. A second later it looked like she zoned out but was still taking care of me.

"He will be here soon sweetie." She replied. I just nodded not caring how he knows where I am or how she talked to him. A minute later a knock came at the bathroom door. The lady got up and unlocked the door. She moved out of the way holding the door wide open for him. Brandon walked in and took in my position. He quickly walked over to me and put me on his lap. He didn't say anything just held me while I regained control of my breathing. I felt the shocks run threw my body. My head is on his chest and he's holding me like a awkward big baby.

"Thank you." I croaked. He smiled at me sadly and moved me off his lap. I was quite disappointed at losing his warmth but I didn't say anything I just stayed where I was.

"Are you staying here?" Brandon asked. I nodded not saying anything else. Usually once I have a panic attack I don't want to talk to anyone I just want to be by myself. I just go deeper into depression and nothing or anyone can stop it. The depression worsens once I feel the start of a panic attack. Brandon sighed and squatted down and gathered me up. I put my arm around his neck and my head on his chest. I like how this feels and I don't want to move. He walked us out of the bathroom and to our table. I felt many different eyes on me but I didn't think to much into it. I just looked down at my batman jacket I was wearing. "The jacket? The Bracelet's?" I was confused at first but I quickly understood what he meant once I thought about it. Micheal told them. I'm not mad at him because if it wasn't for him Brandon and his family would never know what I suffer from.

"Yep." I answered. I know he frowned because his posture quickly changed. I may be in his arms but I know. "I'm fine."

"You don't seem fine." He answered sighing. I finally got enough will power to look up at his handsome face. I was right he was frowning. I look one hand and tried to remove the frown from his face. "What are you doing?"

"You don't look attractive when you frown." I whispered. This caused the smallest of smiles to appear on his face. "Better." I didn't realize we reached the table until he sat me down next to Micheal. He was about to move to the other side of the booth when I pulled him down. He gaved me a questioning look but I just smiled at him.
