Finally we are one

Emily's pov

I am so happy that Brandon and I are finally one. I'm technically the Luna but there has to be a party type thing to welcome me into the pack. I wan't really listening to him when he mentioned party. But everyone has already been coming up to me and telling me how happy they are that I am the Luna now. I still get glares from the whores of the pack though. It's been a week and all is going well. I'd say we haven't had a fight in the one week since we've been official but that would be a lie. We actually had a fight yesterday but we fixed it. We had a fight about my friend from Oklahoma. He's my best friend and Brandon was getting jealous of how much I text him and he wanted to read what we talk about since sometimes I will bust out laughing. My friend wants to be in the Navy once he graduates high school and I laughed about what he said. He said he wanted to be on a ship so he can say he's in a place that's long and hard and full of seamen. I laughed at this and Brandon got pissed because I laughed at what he said and then not long later my friend told me he loved me and I said it back. It took maybe two hours of fighting for him to finally hear me out just so I could say that he's like a little brother to me. I think that was our only serious fight. We have a lot of playful ones but that's about it.

Brandon is currently in his office working on Pack stuff or has a meeting or something. Well he is doing that I am in our room hanging out with my brothers. Micheal keeps asking if he could be a werewolf. Ever since he found out they were real and he seen Brandon, Andy, and Mason shift now he wants to be one. I always tell him the same thing. 'Wait until you are older before you decide to be one. You may not want to when you get older.' After like the 10th time asking he finally gaved up on asking. So right now we are watching Batman. Not the old batman no but the 2000 one. I'm not quite sure what year it came out and I cant get up to look since both boys are cuddled into my side. Jack and I love Batman while Micheal loves superman. So when we have a random movie night and we vote Jack and I usually win unless we have Brandon with us. He usually ties us so Micheal can still watch superman that day.

"Do you think I could be batman one day?" Jack asked once the credits of the movie came on.

"If you ever come into a lot of money and you can find out where to get a bullet proof car then yes I do believe you could." I answered honestly.

"Do you think I could be Superman?" Micheal asked. Now since i don't like superman I had to think about my answer. I didn't want to say no and stop him but I didn't want to say yes and make him think everything Superman can do is possible outside of a movie.

"I think you could to a point." I honestly answered.

"Emily you know I would think you would believe in Mythical creatures since you live with some." Brandon said walking through the door. There are down sides to being humans. I don't have a mind-link. We have to talk like normal people in normal places. But since I have a mate that's a wolf I do get to feel his emotions though. I really want to talk to his dad though and see what he can tell me about human mates.

"Well I think Mythical creatures and Aliens are two different things." I replied honestly. "Superman fell from the sky and hes in the human form to appear normal even though you cant appear normal if you can fly and have nonhuman powers."

"What about Mythical creatures?" Brandon asked curiously. Since I don't have mind-link he has no idea what I'm thinking. I'm told that if you leave your mind-link open when you are thinking then people can see what you are thinking about. You see I didn't know that until yesterday.

"Mythical creatures are what they sound like they are myths. Some myths are proven true though." I answered. Brandon smiled at me. I didn't realize he was next to the bed until he crawled on and moved me up a bit so I could be between his legs.

"I'm going to take Jack to our room." Micheal said getting off the bed and picking up Jack and walking out of the room. We just stayed like that not even moving until Brandon stiffened and growled.

"What's wrong?" I questioned.



Brandon's pov

I just love having Emily in my arms. Not only that but knowing she will be safe with me makes me and my wolf feel so much better.

'Alpha!' One of my guards yelled through mind-link.

'Yes?' I questioned.

'We have rogues.' He answered.

'How many?' I asked stiffening a bit.

'There are 6 in sight but they are all around the territory Alpha.' He answered.

'All the other guards are seeing them to?' I asked for confirmation.

'Yes Alpha.' He answered.

'Do you know what they want?' I asked even though I have a good guess of what they want.

'They want our Luna.' He growled. I growled at the thought of someone getting their hands on my beautiful mate. I will not let that happen.

"What's wrong?" Emily sweet voice filled my ears. I need to make sure I don't give to much away. I do not want her hurt. But then again she knows when I lie to her so I cant lie.

"Rogues are trying to get on my territory." I answered. I put my head on her shoulder taking in her scent to calm me down.

"Go." Emily commanded. I quickly looked up and twirled her around so she was straddling my lap. Any other time it would make me really horny but not right now because I cant think right that. I need to think about protecting her and her brothers. I know they don't want her brothers but she would feel so much better knowing they were safe and with her.

"I cant leave you." I told her.

"You are the Alpha. You need to deal with the rogues and find out what they want." Emily answered. She's gonna make a great Luna. "Have someone come in here and protect me if you are so worried about leaving me."

"I'll go but if you need me communicate through whoever I put in here for you." I told her.

"Yesh sir!" Emily saluted giving me a cute little grin. I couldn't help my self anymore. I pulled her in for a kiss.

"Please don't leave this room." I begged.

"I won't I promise." Emily answered kissing me again.

'Angie and Mike come to my room.' I commanded through mind-link. Might as well have someone I know Emily likes to watch her and have some man power watching my mate.

'Yes Alpha.' They said. A few minutes later they knocked on the door and Emily answered the knock telling them to come in.

"Mason and Andy we will be leaving to handle the rogues in a couple minutes.' I mind-linked them.

'Yes Alpha.' I looked up to see that Angie and Mike are now in the room.

"I want you guys to watch Emily while I go handle the rogues. If Emily needs to talk to me I want one of you to communicate for her. I want to know what she said and I want you to tell her everything I said. Got it?" I asked using my alpha voice. I want to make sure they don't break my command.

"So bossy." Emily mumbled. I smiled at that. Emily looked up at me and smiled back. Emily held her arms out to me so I walked over to her and hugged her.

"I love you so much." I whispered. Emily's head was laying on my neck so I felt her smile when I told her I loved her. I really do love her. I cant help it. I need her to know now incase something happens.

"I love you too." Emily whispered. She kissed my shoulder. I dipped my head so I could kiss her mark. She shivered a little bit. I looked back at her to see she had a breath taking smile on her lips. I quickly pecked her lips before I walked out the door giving one more glance at my beautiful Emily.



A/n Not quite sure what I want to happen with the rogues yet. Don't know if I want a war and Emily gets taken or if I want something bigger to happen. Any ideas? Oh I'm always open for ideas so don't be afraid to tell me any ideas you have.
