I grabbed the little boy's hat and started my walk to their house. Caden said he would come but I didn't think it was necessary considering he was dealing with other things.
She opened the door before I got to the porch and brought me into a tight hug. I hugged her back and then knelt down to hug her daughter.
Her mate came out of the living room as we made it in the door. I held the daughter on my hip and she put her cheek on my shoulder. She was adorable.
"Are you having a pup Luna?"
I smiled, "I'm having two pups."
Her eyes widened, "That is so cool! I thought mommy's only had one pup at a time."
"I'm having twins."
"Wow." She said excitedly, "Alpha is going to be a daddy."
"Yes he is."
"And you'll be a mommy."
"Yes I will."
"I want to be a mommy when I'm older."
"Don't worry, you have plenty of time sweetheart."
She smiled and I put her down as a sound at the stairs caught my attention.
I smiled wide as their little boy came running down the stairs.
"Hey Luna!" He said happily.
"Hello! How are you feeling?"
"Better than ever! I was only in my wheelchair for the day after the experiment. I can walk!"
"That's amazing!" I said excitedly. He could go back to playing his sports and living like a little boy does.
His mother was beaming, "They both pulled through."
"You have a strong mate, and stronger boy."
"I know. I'm lucky."
I nodded and looked to the boy, "Close your eyes."
He instantly shut them, "Luna?"
I placed the hat I carried here on his head, "Okay."
He took it off his head and held my leg in an awkward hug briefly, "Thanks Luna!"
"You're welcome. It was in a lounge room."
"I thought I lost it! Yay!"
After catching up over a cup of coffee I made my way back to the pack house.
The funeral arrangements were all made, and the funerals would happen tomorrow. The meeting last night went smoothly and the pack seemed pretty ecstatic overall about successfully getting fated mates in future generations.
Paul, the head councillor, had cried during the meeting when he found out what Caden and I had done with the pack. He had been so overjoyed. He immediately went back to the pack house and during the phone call last night told us that everyone was ecstatic.
They thought it was a lost cause up until now.
Caden and I couldn't be more proud of our pack. They were truly amazing individuals. And our pups would get to grow up with all of them.
Caden kissed my neck as his arms wormed around my waist, he took a deep breath and sighed, "You smell amazing."
I chuckled, "You're not too bad yourself."
"The doctor just told me that you're progressing well my eight-month-pregnant fiancee."
I smiled, he always brings up the wedding, "The appointment this morning went well. He said they were growing faster than normal though. He said they were developing along quicker than normal."
