Getting that thought and realization inside of his head proved to be a bit difficult for he was worried about what his friends in Glee club would say and do when they find out that he was not going to spy on the competition. Once he got over his internal fear, a ringtone of :Don't stop believing" interrupted his war between emotions and when he looked at the caller I.D he saw that it was his brother Finn. Snatching the phone off of the passenger seat beside him, Kurt locked it into place on the stand inside of his truck and pressed the green phone symbolizing that the conversation could now begin since he had both hands on the steering wheel once more.
A minute of absolute and awkward silence overtook the truck, all that could be heard on the opposite end of the phone was someone breathing really hard, but that soon changed when his brothers voice finally got the courage to speak his opinion on the matter of him spying on the Warblers.
"Bro are you absolutely sure that you want to spy on the Warblers, I mean it is good for the team and all but what happens if you get caught, we can't bail you out of a jam if we are not near you".
Kurt could hear the worry and concern in his brother's tone of voice and he knew that Finn did not want him to go through with the plan so he asked his brother if he could leave the group and go somewhere that they would not be able to hear the conversation between the two siblings.
Finn excused himself proclaiming that he was not feeling well so he needed to use the men's room and rapidly exited the choir room and entered the washroom before allowing Kurt to continue talking for he knew that his baby brother had a plan and he wanted, no he needed to hear it to see if it was a secure one. When Kurt heard the stall door closing he knew that his brother was away from the New Directions and with that embedded in his mind he began to speed talk to Finn about not wanting to spy on the Warblers, and only doing this so he could get out of that area and school, and asked Finn if he was fine with not receiving any information about the competition. Finn, who was glad he lived with Kurt, for if he did not then he was sure that he would have not been able to understand one word that was protruding out of his brother's mouth. After hearing and listening to why he was doing this spying in the first place and about how he was not going to send or deliver any new information on the Warblers, Finn felt proud and thrilled for his little brother because he could hear the excitement in his voice by mentioning that he was not at that school, and all Finn wanted was to have Kurt smiling and being himself once more.
When Finn heard the truck come to a screeching halt, he knew that Kurt certainly arrived at the prestigious Dalton Academy. Before Kurt could leave his vehicle Finn's voice came through the phone once more saying that he wanted him to look out for the captain of the Warblers, for he has heard many stories about how cruel, and ruthless this man could be and he did not want his little brother anywhere near this guy since he was not there to protect him.
Kurt listened closely to what his brother mentioned but could not see in good conscious how a man could be like that so he decided to go with his gut and told Finn that he was not going to judge a person by what people say about them or by what his reputation may be. With those last words announced he asked for the captains name just so he could have a clue on who this supposed "bad boy" was.
Finn detecting that his brother would not change his mind or back down exhaled slowly before saying the name of the captain of the Warblers Blaine Anderson. Kurt who was now holding the phone to his ear almost dropped it when he heard this name for as his memory recalls the two males in the Lima Bean talking and he overheard both of their names, the one in the full uniform was Blaine while the other one beside him was Jeff who was complaining about how his blazer was stolen from him.
Kurt soon snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Finn's voice speaking once more explaining about how the Warblers worked like how they had a council instead of a director, and that he must be wary around the three top members, Blaine since he is a junior but is the captain so he was the first chair of the council, and then his right and left hand men who as far as he googled went by the names of Wes and Trent. With this knowledge received and processed in Kurt's mind, he told his brother not to worry and than shut his phone off before proceeding into the academy.
