Meanwhile back at Mickenly, Finn was losing his mind, he had not heard from his brother for over two hours and he was beginning to worry and thought that those Warblers did something to him, especially that captain, he had a funny suspicion that he was behind Kurt not calling or messaging him. His train of thoughts were soon interrupted by Rachel squealing like a pig because Mr. Schuster gave the solo to a cheerleader who went by the name of Quinn Fabray.

Everyone was used to the drama caused by the glee club but what he was not used to were the evil stares that he was receiving from Rachel, which made no sense in his opinion since he had no control over what Mr. Schu did with his club. Minutes went by with Rachel arguing about why she should have the solo since she is a star and was more talented than anyone within the room. By hearing this Finn stood up and stormed out of the choir room and noticing that it was the end of the school day proceeded to the Hummel-Hudson home.

Once he got to the doors he realized that Burt would still be at the garage working on the rusty and worn down cars that needed maintenance while his mother Carole texted him while he was walking home that she would be late for she was out shopping and he knew what girls were like when it came down to that subject.

Finn who was used to this grabbed his spare key that he always leaves in his pocket of his football jacket before entering the house and climbing the what seemed to be endless stair case towards his room. When he entered the first thing he could see was the mountain of clothes piled in the corner and there was a slight pine smell surrounding his room which caused him to smile for Carole must have sprayed a freshener to make his room have an aroma of the grass on the football field instead of the stench of sweat from his practices. As he was gazing around his room it felt like he had no control over his body because one moment he was standing in the entrance way inhaling the earthy aroma and the next he was flattened on his bed like a pancake exhausted from the endless and tiring day.

His chocolate brown eyes were closing on their own, and when they were finally shut, his phone vibrated singling that he had received a text message. When Finn heard this his eyes snapped open and he latched his calloused hand around the tiny screen before sliding it open awaiting to see who the messages were from. When it unlocked he saw that he had two messages one was from his friend Puck while the other was from his brother Kurt.

Deciding to answer Puck first he clicked on his name and saw that he was asking if he was OK and if he wanted to come over to his house later in the night. Feeling like a good friend he immediately messaged him back explaining about his make believe illness that he created so he could get away from Rachel who he was finding to be very annoying especially with how she has been acting lately, and then texted Puck that he would be over in ten minutes.

After the message was sent he instantly opened his brother's text and let out a breath he did not even know he was holding in, for Kurt's message was short and sweet but it meant a lot to Finn since it was telling him that he was fine and that no one not even the captain of the Warblers were suspecting anything out of the ordinary. Realizing that his younger brother had everything under control over at Dalton Academy, Finn grabbed his football jacket and threw it onto his shoulders before bolting out the front door as fast as lightning towards Puck's house for some good old action packed X-box playing time.

When he entered the house he saw that Puck had everything already set up and immediately grabbed the camouflage controller before choosing his team, once they were all set the two boys began to battle each other for the ball and were racing their quarterbacks to the touch down area for you see even if they are not at school the two child hood friends loved playing football where ever they may be.

Hours went by before Finn finally had to start trekking on back to his home and when he arrived he saw that his mother and Kurt's father were standing at the door awaiting for his return. When he entered the house the parents automatically turned towards Finn before explaining that he would have the full up-stairs to himself for tonight since Kurt had called them and explained that he would be staying at a friends house for the night and would return home sometime tomorrow afternoon.
