The ride to Dalton seemed to go on forever almost hours, the only noise that could be heard within the silverado was the soft relaxing music playing from Blaine's iPod. Kurt did not like how Blaine's hands were clenched around the steering wheel, so he decided to ask him about what was bothering him so much that made him so angry that he looked like he wanted to set everything in his path up in flames.

The Warbler captain could not believe his ears, someone was actually asking about his well being, like sure he's been asked by his fellow Warblers out of respect since some of them are intimidated by him every since the Lima Bean incident but not by someone he had just met a few days ago. Upon hearing this question Blaine put his right single on and entered the Dalton parking lot before coming to a complete stop. When the vehicle was no longer moving, Blaine's hands reluctantly unlatched from the steering wheel and without his permission a muffled sob slipped past the barrier of his mouth before he could stop it.

Kurt who was watching his friend with curiosity saw the glistening tears pouring down his face and sparkling like pearls from the moonbeams reflecting off of the truck's windows. When he noticed that Blaine was a trembling mess, he brought his hand towards his friend's face and swiped the tears away using his thumb before pulling the captain into his arms. Blaine froze for a few minutes not used to anyone touching him, and he was not prepared for Kurt's sudden caring and kindness, but he soon relaxed and hug the boy back wrapping his arms around Kurt's waist.

Once this exchange was over, Kurt faced his new friend once more before realizing that he had avoided his question so he asked it again, which caused Blaine to sigh for he knew that Kurt would never back down especially when he wanted an answer. " I'm so sorry Kurt, this is all my fault if I had stopped Wes from making that phone call then you would be fine and still at your old school, I am such a terrible friend I was not there to protect you like I said the Warblers would be I understand completely if you do not want to be my friend any longer".

All through his explanation, Kurt could see the anguish, despair, and above all fear buried deep within his eyes and he felt a sudden pain flash through his chest but as quick as it came was the same speed it left. Noticing that Blaine was still crying, Kurt grabbed onto his hand and held it within his own not letting go and began rubbing circles onto his knuckles by using his thumb once more. This action helped calm Blaine down easily, the warmth that Kurt's hand contained circled around the coldness of his own, it felt like their hands were made for each other, allowing one to melt the cold bitter ice that forms due to anger and grief.

Kurt could see the disbelief and guilt within Blaine's eyes so he decided to shake off the uneasiness of talking and said " Blaine, look me in the eyes for I mean every word I am about to say to you. This was not your fault or anybody else's, I had this coming, you heard Kerosfsky on the phone there would be hell on Monday and worse then I have ever dealt with. I do not want you to feel guilty any longer, I am here because you are my strength, you are my courage that helps me stand up for myself, I do not want you to ever think that you or the Warblers were the cause of my pain understand".

Blaine gazed into Kurt's eyes praying that he was speaking the truth and was not just telling him what he wanted to hear. When he saw the sincerity and honesty behind his friend's words a smile broke free and illuminated Blaine's face making Kurt laugh softly. Later there was an awkward silence and Blaine took that time to recall everything that had happened today, he felt so guilty and blamed himself for what happened to Kurt, he almost did not even go to the hospital but soon changed his mind when he got a call from Kurt's parents Burt and Carole. They were asking him to talk to the dean about Kurt enrolling at Dalton and he instantly obliged their request and since the dean had some rooms that needed to be filled and by knowing his grade he immediately accepted the transfer.
