It's been a 7 days since Chan left to go to the military and Minho could barely stand it. He missed Chan every night when he slept alone. If he was this torn and it's only been a week, imagine how he was gonna be in a few months.

Bangchan wasn't coming back until another 7 months. Minho called Chan military every night and Bangchan called back every time. Minho was at least grateful for that. About 2 months in Minho called like he did every night but this time Chan didn't pick up which was weird. He dialed Chan number again. No response. This was weird. Minho called the military service and the person didn't give much information. He said many soldiers were very injured and he could give me any other details. Okay now he was really worried. He decided to call Changbin. He picked up on the second ring.

"What's up, Min?" Changbin asked. "I-it's Chan. He won't pick up and the military service says that lots of soldiers were badly hurt! What-what if Chan got hurt or even worse, what if he-" "Hyung, it's okay. Calm down, I'm sure he's okay. He's probably busy..." Changbin said tho he was equally concerned. "O-okay you're probably right." Minho said even though he was close to crying. "I have to go now but please call me when you know more about Chan." Changbin said his voice was shaky on the other end. "Y-yeah. I will." Minho sniffled. "Ok saranghae Minho-yah."

"Saraghae.." Minho replied and hung up the phone. Then he flopped down on his back into his bed. 

"My love, please be okay." Minho muttered before going to sleep.

When Minho woke up he turned on the TV and went to the news where he found that Chan's group of soldiers won the 1st war. Minho cheered and then another came up on the news. "South Korea's military wins the 1st war with 4 soldiers injured and 1 pronounced dead of yesterday morning." The person on the news said seriously.

Minho's heart dropped. It wasn't Chan. It couldn't be. Lee know fumbled for his phone as he immediately called Chan's number. No answer. Shit. Please no.Next Minho called the military service. 

"Hello?"

"Umm hi. I'm calling to see which one of the soldiers died."

"I'm sorry sir, I can't tell you that."

"Please I haven't heard from my boyfriend in weeks is it him?!"

"That is confidential information, sir."

"No please! Was it Chan? Was it Bangchan??"

"Sir, for the 3rd I can't speak of any of that information. I'm going to hang up now."

And just like that Minho stood there as the line went dead. And he cried and cried until there were no tears left. The neighbors most definitely heard him from their apartment complex. His heart broke and he pleaded that Chan wasn't dead.

He tried Chan again but no answer. Minho called his mom and she immediately picked up. He heard her son sobbing on the other end and she asked him what's happened.

Minho told her about how Chan never picked up his phone and it was said on the news that a soldier had died.

Not even ten minutes later Minho's mom was at the door with her famous casserole. Minho opened the door for his mom and he hugged her tight.
