Chapter 24

—RAMIRO POV—

I stand beside Silas as we walk inside the warehouse, Silas looks around, her gun in her hand as she observes the messy abandoned area.

"She isn't here anymore.." Silas mutters, putting her gun down, I nod in agreement. I walk inside further with Silas, I look at the table that stands in the middle of the warehouse as Silas goes to check the other rooms. I pick up a large paper that looks like some sort of blue prints of a house, i look closely and realize.

It's Salvatores house... seems like some sort of plan to get into the house, good thing Silas or serena dont live there anymore.

I set the paper down, seeing another one on the desk. It's another blue print.

This time, it's a place I don't recognize.

"Hey Silas..?" I call out. She responds soon after. "Yeah?" She yells.

"Come here real quick, my love i think I've found something." I call out softly, she makes her way out of the room she was in and looks at the blue prints in my hands, she quickly comes over to me and takes the blue prints from my hold, scanning over the paper.

"This is another warehouse.. I know where this is, Ramiro.." she explains, looking up at me and I can see the look on her face, the look that she has when shes ready to snap.

I gently take the paper from her hands, placing a hand on her cheek, making her look at me. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, amore, we don't know what we're up against and who she has on her side.. maybe let's get your family?" I add. She pulls away, her expression giving off nothing. "Fuck my family right now, honestly, it's time we actually do something instead of waiting around for shit to pop off.." She says, her voice cold as she turns away and takes the blue prints, looking at the one of her old house.

"She knows every single crevice of that house, Ramiro. Anything can happen at any moment and I want to end it before anyone gets hurt." Silas says, I look at her, nodding understandably.

"Just please, lets be cautious of this and lets thing before we act. At least come up with a plan..maybe Manuel can help us?" I suggest, walking out with silas, she nods, about to say something until she freezes, furrowing her eyebrows.

"What's wrong?" I question curiously, Silas spins around and scans the place. "Nothing, I just feel like we are being watched right now.." she mumbles, I turn my head to look around as well, confused. "I dont see anyone, my love i think we are okay,, lets just get out quickly.."

With hesitation, Silas follows me out, I place my hand on her lower back as I open the door for her, letting her get inside the car, I glance back at the warehouse, sighing.

I step outside of a room in the warehouse, quickly hiding behind the wall when I see Silas, she is talking to a guy whose name she said was Ramiro, my heart slightly races. Out of all days i come back here, shes here. And I left her blueprints of my new warehouse on the desk which she can easily take.

Fuck.

I watch as Silas leaves with the guy whose name im guessing is Ramiro, I get out from behind the wall and let my body relax, I smile.
