His Clothes

"Oh my god that was insane!" You squeal, trying to catch your breath.

"I know, that rain came out of nowhere." Shawn agreed, shutting the door to his house behind him. The sound of the pouring rain quieted immediately.

You and Shawn were taking a walk together when a torrential downpour caught you. You sprinted home, laughing and screaming, your shoes splashing up water as you ran.

"I'm completely soaked." You say, looking down at your shirt which was stuck to your body. Your hair was dripping and your makeup was probably a mess, you didn't even want to know how bad it looked.

"Come on, let's go change into some dry clothes." Shawn grabs your hand and you follow him upstairs into his room.

"Here." He throws you a pair of his sweatpants and a sweatshirt.

You smile and walk to the bathroom to change.

You peel your wet shirt off of your body and up over your head, dropping it on the tile floor. You slip your arms into Shawn's sweatshirt, the soft fabric warming your skin. You do the same with your shorts, and pull on his black sweatpants.

Pushing open the door to his room, you see Shawn with his back to you, pulling a shirt over his head. His back muscles flex as the shirt falls over his torso.

"Well, they're a little big..." You say and he turns around to look at you.

The bottom of the sweatshirt falls halfway down your thighs and his sweats pool around your feet. You hold your arms out from your sides and the sleeves drape over your hands.

Shawn chuckles and sits down on his bed.

"You look so adorable right now baby, come here." He pats his lap.

You stride over to him and wrap your arms around his neck. You straddle his hips and he pulls you tight into his chest. His warm hand slips under the back of the sweatshirt, rubbing your lower back soothingly.

"Warming up?" He asks as you bury your face in his shoulder.

"Mhmm," You hum, your eyes shut, breathing in Shawn's comforting scent from his t-shirt.

"I love you baby," he whispers.

"I love you too."
