She walked into her kitchen wearing a smile and her favorite jean jacket of Luke's.
All that was running through her mind was last night, and how he visited her.
"Mum?" She hummed.
"Do you believe in love?" She asked still dazed and intoxicated by the smell of Luke's jacket.
"Not since I met your father." Her mum said snickering to her self whilst her dad got up from the table.
"Very funny." He said before giving her mum a peck on the lips.
He turned around to her and kissed her cheek as well and headed towards the door.
"See you soon, Pipes." Her father called out the door.
She didn't respond, but giggled as she made her was to the door herself.
"Leaving so soon?" He mum asked while she slide on her golden slide on Vans and put her arms throughout the straps of her backpack.
"Yes, I told Luke I'd meet him." She said smiling at his name.
It turns out she had never made plans to do that, but wanted to surprise him at the front gates.
"Okay, be safe, and make good choices!" Her mum called as she shut the door.
She started her way down the familiar path, opening her white gate, past the oak tree, past Michael's house (making sure to sprint), past the old park where the rusted jungle gym lays to rest, and finally throughout the gates of her school.
That she hated.
She then sat on the bench next to the huge oak tree her and Luke ate lunch under and waited for his arrival.
When he did arrive he was opening the front door of Ashton Irwin's red Jeep, he then walked into the gates with two shadows behind him.
Calum Hood and Michael Clifford, their enemies.
She felt like a dumbbell had just been placed on her chest as they walked towards her.
When she waved at Luke he simply put his head down and kept walking, she was soon met with Calum and Michael walking past too.
"Slut"
"Whore"
She looked at Luke to see if he would stop this nightmare, but he just kept walking.
She threw her backpack off in one motion and stripped off the jean jacket.
When she caught up with Luke she threw the old material at the back of his long figure.
He stopped dead in his tracks and turned around.
"What?" He spat at her.
She new that she had lost him, she didn't know how, but with her whole heart she knew he was gone.
She couldn't help the water rushing out of her eyes.
"I hate you" she said all to fast.
She turned her small body and started walking away, which soon turned into a run, and then a sprint.
"I hate you."
"I hate you."
"I hate you."
Her vision was blurry, but she kept on running.
Luke picked up the jacket and stared at it.
He didn't even notice the small wet spots that were created until Calum came up to him and slapped his back.
He wiped his cheeks and kept walking.
