chapter seven

Zach

I woke laying next to her. She was still sleeping. I slowly got up and went to my computer. I started uploaded a video went on Twitter for a little bit. Then I heard Emmaline start to move. I went over to her and watched her till she opened her eyes. She jumped when she saw me.
"Oh my gosh Zach you scared me!" she yelled. I laughed really hard and fell on the ground but tried to stop. Emmaline just gave me an evil look but smiled because it was really fun.
"How are you feeling?" I asked when I could finally talk again.
"Okay," she said sitting up.
"I'm going to get you something to eat," I said and went down stairs. I pulled out my phone and called Liam.
"Hello?" said Liam.
"Hey I need help."
"What's up?"
"What do I feed Emmaline?" I asked.
"Um, water and some applesauce would be good I guess."
"Okay thanks Doctor H." He laughed.
"Don't call me that but your welcome. Oh and don't forget we are record UHC in an hour. Emma might be there for it."
"Yeah, it will be fine. I'll kept her busy."
"Okay, talk to you then."
"Bye," I said and hung up. Ugh, I forgot about UHC. This was going to be annoying with Emma but I couldn't leave her. She needed me. I made her some breakfast and brought it upstairs. She was sitting up and smiled when I came in.
"Thank you," she said when I gave her the food.
"Anything for you," I said back. "Um Em?"
"Yeah?"
"I have to film UHC today if that's okay."
"Yeah I was gonna leave anyways." She shrugged.
"No don't." I said waving my hands around. "I want to take care of you."
"Zach, I'm fine." she said and stood up. She grabbed her bag and her shoes.
"Please don't leave," I said quietly.
"Zach, I'm sorry but I'm better off at home. I have to go to work tomorrow anyways." she sounded annoyed and she walked out the door.
I should have walked out with her but I stayed in my room. My phone buzzed. It was probably someone telling me to get on and get ready for UHC. Honestly I wasn't in the mood right now but I had to be. I sat down at my desk and took a deep breathe. Here we go.

Emmaline

I didn't talk to Zach for two days. I didn't talk to to him the rest of that day and the next. But he texted me the day after.
Z: Emmaline, I'm sorry.
And that was it. I didn't really know how to respond so I didn't which would make things worse but I didn't really know what to do or say. I wasn't mad. I was just confused and irritated. I wanted to talk to Liam again. I wasn't fan to the cube anymore. I didn't really like the content anymore. I wasn't a huge fan of the people. The rumors were cube was dead and it honestly was. Then, while staring at my phone and decided wether to reply to Zach to not, I got a text from a random number.
X: hey is this Emmaline?
E: who's this?
X: Liam. hbomb.
E: oh hi
L: Zach gave me your number to see if your okay. he's actually letting me talk to you!
E: yeah that's good but idk if I'm okay.
L: what's up?
E: did he tell you what happened?
L: kind of. he just said you left and hadn't talk to him.
E: well I guess that's really it. I'm not sick.
L: 24 hr bug?
E: no I threw up and passed out because I felt so guilty about talking to you that I felt sick. and please don't tell Zach that we are talking.
L: I haven't. and really?
E: yeah, I can make myself sick like that.
L: so your okay though? I need to tell him something
E: yeah I'm okay. but confused bc of Z
L: he cares about you a lot and doesn't want the Internet to take that away. he has a lot of online friends and less real life friends.
E: I know. tell him I'm okay and I've been really busy recent. I'll text him back soon.
L: okay I will. and you can come to me whenever Emma. I know we just kind of met but Zach is my best friend and I'll be there for him and his girlfriend.
E: thanks Liam (:

I texted Zach the next day.
E: hey
Z: hey em. I've missed you.
E: it's been like two days
Z: can I see you please?!
E: when and where
Z: in an hour at the joint??
E: okay.
So I went to the joint.
Zach was sitting at a table. He watched me walk in and sit across from him. He smiled.
"How are you?" he asked.
"I'm okay, you?"
"I'm nothing without you Emma." I took a deep breathe.
"Zach, I-"
"Emma please," I stopped.
"Emma I love you!"

short chapter but hi!! so this book will be kind of a short book and no more then 15 chapters. maybe it will only be ten idk yet. this is a filler chapter bc I have no ideas for this book so if you have any comment and vote if you enjoy(:
