chapter eight

Liam

I was leaving for the meet up today. All of us were actually. I got on my plane and slept the whole time. I got to Seattle and met Devon at the airport.
Everything was fine.

"What are you gonna do when he shows up?" Bee asked me. We were just sitting on her and Mitchell's bed in the house.
"Flip the fuck out and go hide," I said. Bee laughed. "Not being sarcastic." I added. Because I literally wasn't.
"I think...never mind."
"What?"
"Well...I think you should tell him," Bee said with a shrugged.
"Bianca!"
"Liam don't use my name!"
"It's your name!"
"I never answer to it!"
"Whatever. I'm not telling him."
"Tell him you're over him!" She suggested.
"I don't even know if I'm over him!" I said.
"Liam, your only over him if you believe you are. If you love him, let him go."
I had to let him go. Bee was right. everything she was saying was right. I had to tell him I was over it. He didn't even know I liked him and now I was going to tell him I was over him?! Everything was weird and crazy but I was getting through it. I was done with all this bullshit and being heart broken.
Devon came into the room.
"Hey guys, what's up?" he sat on the bed. Not everyone was here yet. It was only me, Mitchell, bee, Julio, and Devon. Will was suppose to be here soon. Him and Zach were getting an uber together.
"Bee wants to tell you a secret!" I yelled and Bee pushed me off the bed. I started laughing. Wow. I hadn't laughed in forever.
"Tell me!" Devon cried.
"You can't tell anyone yet!" Bee said firmly. Devon nodded and Bee whispered into his ear. His face lit up.
"Really?!" She nodded.
"Aw! I knew you guys were together!"
"Shh!" me and Bee said to him. Devon giggled.
Then the door bell rang. I jumped at the sound. My stomach flipped.
"That must be Will and Zach!" Devon exclaimed and got up. Bee gave me a worried look.
I gave her a smile.
I had cancelled that trip I was going to have to see family in Canada and staying with Zach. I couldn't bare to face him and didn't have enough money for a hotel. I had been saving for this trip.
I heard noise and I heard his voice.
Me and Bee walked down stairs. Mitchell was hugging Will. Zach looked at me.
"Hey Liam! Hey Bee!" and he came up to us. Breathe. He hugged and Bee at the same time so it wasn't like his arms were around me or I would have flipped out.
I smiled. Zach walked over with his stuff to his room and talking to Julio. Bee elbowed me. I stopped smiling.
"Ow!" I whispered. "What was that?!"
"You look like a murder smiling!" Ugh.
"Really? That bad?" She nodded. I shook my head and closed my eyes.
"It's okay," she said and rubbed my back, "Everything will be okay."

Emmaline

I knew Zach loved me. I knew when he told Liam. I knew when he told me. But I was speechless. I couldn't even say it back. He just stared at me.
"Shit, Zach I-"
"It's okay Em." It was like he knew I wanted to say it but the words weren't coming out. "I have to go pack, I'm leaving tomorrow." He stood up and kissed me cheek.
Ugh, that stupid trip. I had forgotten about it. He would be gone for 2 weeks. Remember when I wanted to go with him? And now he doesn't want anyone to know about me.
I hate being a secret.
"I hate being a secret."
"What?" Shit. I didn't mean to say that out loud.
"I...I-"
"Emmaline, I'm sorry. I just-"
His phone started going off. He answered it.
He had to leave, it was important. And that was the last I saw of him, for two fucking weeks.

I went to work, a lot. Honestly I had nothing better to do. I went to school. I focused on school so much. I didn't know what was going on with me and Zach. I loved him. I did. I think I did. I hated him being gone. I texted him.
E: I wanted to say it so bad
Z: it's okay. I just love you a lot.
E: it's shitty that I can easily say it over text but I don't want to. I want to tell you when you get back.
Z: I'm sorry for keeping you a secret.
E: I know you like your privacy.
Z: it's more then that
E: whatever
Z: em
And I didn't respond. Yes, I was mad. I hated being like this. I just wanted to tweet to everyone, "HI IM GRASER10'S GIRLFRIEND OKAY BYE." But Zach would kill me if I did.
I deleted my fan account. I deleted my YouTube channel. I was over being a 'fan'.
Everything was so much more. I knew that fucked up and I needed to fix it. But how?

Zach

Everyone was here. Honestly, it was amazing to be with everyone. Liam, Bee, and Mitchell were all acting weird. Even Devon was whispering to Bee and it was just weird.
Mitchell pulled me aside.
"Dude, I need advice." he said.
"Okay, what's up?" Maybe he would tell what was going on. Me and Will were so confused. And Parker didn't even notice anything was happening.
"You can't tell anyone. Only Liam and Devon know." Okay so maybe this was what they were talking about.
"Okay I won't." I replied.
"Me and Bee...are a thing."
"What? Really?" Straubee was real?! He nodded.
"Aww!!"
"Dude," Mitchell looked embarrassed.
"You guys are so cute together!"
"Thanks, but I want to go public but Bee doesn't want to."
"Well you have respect her opinion."
"I do!" he exclaimed. "And I love her so much. I want people to see how happy I am. I don't know how to talk to her about it though."
"Okay, well you should tell her this. Tell her how happy she makes you and you don't care who knows. Why doesn't she want to go public?" I said back.
"I'm not sure."
"Hear her out first. That will help."
"Thanks Zach."
"Welcome," and I gave him a hug. Mitchell walked away.
Maybe I should take my own advice.
The rest of day was good. So far the week has been great. Liam was kind of distance which sucked because he helped me so much. But then one night it was really late and no one was up. I was just standing in the kitchen getting a drink and Liam came in.
"Hey," I said.
"Hi," he said back.
"What's up?"
"Just getting a drink like you." I nodded.
"Zach?" Liam asked.
"Yes?"
"I need to tell you something."
"Okay..."
"I need to tell you that I'm over you."
