chapter nine

Zach

"Your over me?" What the fuck does that mean?
"Yeah, well I use to not be over you and know I am and I guess I just needed to tell you to finally let go of you." He was fidgeting with his hands.
"So you used to like me?" In my head, I was pissed.
He fucking liked me back.
"Love," he corrected blushing. I couldn't help but smile.
"Oh okay, so you're over me now?" I asked. He nodded.
"Thank you for telling me Liam," I said with a smile. I looked into his blue eyes. But I didn't see blue. I saw Emmaline's eyes. I missed her.
I was over Liam.
Liam was over me.
I needed Emma.
But Liam fucking loved me!
"So," I said. "When did you decided you were over me?"
"Like when I got here?" he said like it was a question. "I wanted to so bad because you were with Emmaline and everything."
"Wow, you're a really good actor." Liam smiled.
"Thank you," and he gave a little bow. I laughed.
"So everything is good now?"
"Yep."
"Good, I missed you," and I hugged him. It felt good. It felt right.
What? No. Emma. Emma.
I let go and me and liam went to our rooms and said goodnight. I pulled out my phone.
Z: I miss you
And I waited for her to text back.

She didn't.

Emmaline

Z: I miss you
Honestly I thought about a hundred ways I could respond. But I waited till morning. And I knew what I was going to say.
E: I miss you too but
Z: but?
E: I'm over it.
E: I'm over being your little secret. It's not like I'm a bad person.
Z: I know. your not a secret anymore. I told all my friends about you.
E: wait
really?
Z: yesss
E: you can wait a little longer for like YouTube and stuff...
Z: yeah okay.
Z: you picking me up from the airport?
E: of course.
Z: I love you
E: I like you a lottt
Z: promise you'll tell me when I get back??!!
E: yeah
E: I promise.

I was waiting at the airport. My heart was beating so fast. I had this weird feeling in my stomach. I looked at my phone. He should be here.
Then I saw him. Dragging his suitcase. Looking around. Then our eyes locked and I ran.
I ran into his arms. His arms wrapped around me holding me close. I missed him like crazy.
I pulled away but still had our arms around each other, and I kissed him. I kissed him different then I ever had.
He was gone for two weeks yet it felt like an year.
"I love you," I said after we pulled away from each other. He smiled.
"I love you too."

He told me everything on the ride home. I laughed a lot at the stuff that happened. I laughed even harder when he said, "I wish you were there."
"It's that was got us in this whole mess?"
"Basically," he replied. I took him to his house. But he didn't get out of the car just yet.
"I love you Emmaline," he said. I took a deep breathe.
"I know," I said and I looked at him.
He made my heart melt. Honestly I want to spend every minute with him.
"Is it weird how close we've gotten and we honestly haven't known each mother for very long."
It had only been a couple months. Well more then a couple. I was about to say something when my phone start to ring.
"Hello?"
"Emmaline?!
"Clara?!" Clara my boss.
"Yeah, okay I have some news."
"Okay what?" I asked.
"Your coming home early!"
"What?"
"You're leaving Canada in a month!"

sorry I haven't updated in forever and I know this a short chapter. I've been so busy and been writing too much phan. half of the cube fandom left. I still watch some of there videos. no one uploads cube anymore so I don't really watch much but I try. I will finish this book. I have one more chapter (: okay thanks for reading this.
