chapter four

Emmaline

I was on Twitter, on my cube fan account when I saw Graser aka Zach tweet about a meet up on July 20th in Seattle. And as soon as I read that I got a phone call from one of my new friends, Victoria. When she told me she also liked mine craft and YouTube, I showed her the cube and we both fell in love. Her favorite was Parker but I didn't tell her I was going on a date with Graser. I wasn't going to tell anyone I was a fan. I was actually trying to forget I was.
She called me freaking out about the meet up.
"We have to go Em!"
"Okay, I'll see if I can," and I got her off the phone as fast as I could. I had to get ready for our date.
I got in my car and went to go pick up Zach. When I got to his house he was waiting on the porch so I waved at him to get in the car.
"Hey," he said smiling when he got in. I smiled back and took off. "I wanted to tell you something."
"What?" I asked.
"I wanted to say sorry for not properly asking you out." I laughed a bit.
"It's okay, I'm just glad we are now." I glanced at him and he looked really happy. "So, anything new in your life?" I wanted him to talk about the meetup. Victoria really wanted us to go but I couldn't let him know I'm a fan! He would get so weirded out. And I don't obsess over him and I'm not using him for anything so I don't know what the big deal would be but I know he wouldn't like it. I would just have to explain to Victoria that I can't go. And she would kill me if she found out I was dating Graser.
"Nothing really," he said. Ugh. Maybe he would take me.
"Really?" I was being annoying but maybe it would help.
"Well, I'm going on a trip to the U.S. soon," yes finally!
"Really? Wow! Why?"
"Meet up for fans and stuff and to see my internet friends."
"Cool! This might be a bit weird but would it be okay if I came? I would love to meet your friends and see you and your fans." I could tell he wasn't happy with that idea so I added, "You don't have to tell anyone were going out."
"Uh...maybe!" He tried to seem okay about it but I knew he wasn't.
"It's okay, never mind." I said trying not to make a big deal out of it. But apparently that didn't work.
"It's just...We just started and-"
"It's okay Zach I get it," I tried not to sound mad.
"I don't really want to tell anyone," I waited for him to say 'yet' but he didn't.
"I said you didn't have to tell anyone anything."
"But they'll know."
"I don't understand why that's such a bad thing," I said under my breathe but of course he heard it.
"I'm sorry Em," he said. I pulled into the parking lot of the movie theater and we got out. I hugged him.
"It's okay, let's get tickets." And we went in.
Zach got tickets while I got food. Zach wanted popcorn and a soda and I got some sour patch kids and a cherry slushy.
"We're a bit early," I said as we sat in our seats, all the way in the back. The theater wasn't that full yet. We had about 10 minutes and probably more then that because movies never start on time. I was cold in the theater, I had under dressed. I was wearing a pink and purple floral romper. And I guess Zach saw me shiver.
"Hey want my jacket?" he asked while taking it off. I took it.
"Thanks," I said as I wrapped it around me. It was big on me but I liked it like that. It smelled nice, like Zach. It made me feel happy. I leaned over and kissed him on cheek. Zach looked surprised and blushed.
"You missed," he said. I looked confused and as the lights dimmed he leaned in and I felt his lips on mine. And I never wanted them to leave.

After the movie we walked to a near by restaurant. I still couldn't get over that Zach had kissed me. I felt so happy. We had dinner and then I took him home.
"Hey, you wanna come in? No ones home to bother us," Zach asked.
"Uh sure!" I agreed. He brought me into the house. It was really big I saw Max his cat lying on the couch and I went over and petted him.
"Hi Max!" I said excitedly. Zach looked at me and his kitty. Then he gave me a tour of the rest of the place.
"And for the grand finally!" he said as he opened a door, "My room! Sorry it's a bit messy." We walked in but it was fine. He showed me his computer and gaming and stuff.
"Can I play on it?" I asked nervously.
"Sure!" he said. I sat in the chair and he logged on to mine craft.
"Let's go on the cube so you can walk around and stuff, Straubs on," and he clicked it.
I began to move the controls. I wasn't super comfortable with them because I wasn't the best at playing mine craft but I was really excited. I was hiding most of it. I went over to Straub and punched him, he turned around and just stared at me so I ran away.
When it was time for me to leave, Zach walked me out to my car.
"This was fun!" I said. I was smiling so much.
"Yah, it was. Let's do it again," he smiled back.
"Okay," and then I went in for the kiss. And this time it was better and not unexpected. I loved it.
"Bye!" I said and got in my car when the kiss was over. I drove off but couldn't stop thinking about him the whole time.

Liam

I was trying really hard to stop liking Zach. I had even started dating this girl named Corinne. She was really nice and pretty but I think she was just a distraction but I did like her a bit. I had just came home from a date I had with her. It was nice but I was super tired. I went on the computer for a bit and then all of the sudden got a Skype call from Zach.
"Sup G10?" I asked when I answered.
"I have so many things to tell you," he looked happy. I smiled. I loved to see him happy.
"What?"
"Well good news or bad news first?"
"Bad news," I said.
"Okay well I told Emmaline about the trip and she said she wanted to go."
"Really? Did you tell her that you don't want to tell anyone anything?"
"Yeah and she said I didn't have to but she thought it would be fun to go and meet all of you. I could take her and say she's one of my friends but still."
"Did you guys get into a fight about it or something?" I asked him.
"No," he said, "But it was a small argument. It ended okay."
"Oh, so what's the good news?"
"Oh, well, me and Emma had our first kiss," He was blushing when my face light up.
"Aw," I said as my heart broke in two. I was never going to get over him even though I was super good at hiding it.
