Charlotte's POV
I graduated this morning! Oh my goodness, it felt so amazing to finally be free of high school! I'd felt so awkward walking onto that stage, but the entire pack pulled through, all of them sat at the back whooping and hollering. They were so loud, I almost bust my ear drums. Bella had also lit up when she saw Jake, but he stayed quiet. The Cullens didn't cheer for Bella half as loud as the pack cheered for me.
I was currently at Jess' house, me and Ange sat on the brunette's bed, emptying out our makeup bags and comparing eyeshadow palettes. Jake had begrudgingly allowed me to get ready with my friends, telling me that he'd meet me at the party. And so here I sat, curlers in my hairs, pyjamas still on.
Jess did her own makeup, and then moved on to Angela, and then me. She was so good at makeup, she should like go into film makeup or something. She gave me a heavy, dark eye to match my black dress.
It was short, tight, black, sparkly and showed plenty of boob. I matched it with a pair of black healed boots, which went to just below my knee. They had a thick chunky heel, and gave me at least an extra 3 inches.
I pulled the curlers out my hair, fluffing it, and then pulling it up into a curly updo.
"Wait!" Jess snapped as I made my way over to the mirror, I had no idea how I looked yet and I couldn't wait to see.
I paused, and she pulled out a can of spray-on body glitter.
"Spin," she ordered, and both me and Angela spun around as she doused us in the stuff. I then took the can and did the same to Jess.
All 3 of us looked amazing, sparkly and stand-out. Angela's dress was dark, covered in pink flowers. It was innocent, but still gorgeous, and her hair was pulled into a half up/half down style. Jess had given her a nude eyeshadow, and rosy lipgloss to match. Jess had on a tight green dress, which complimented her hair perfectly. She had a similar colour eyeshadow, and had opted for a darker lip. She looked amazing.
Jake was gonna be so shocked when he saw me, I was certain of it. Even I was shocked when I saw myself in the mirror.
"Girls you ready?" Jess' dad was taking us, and we all climbed into the back of his car, giggling like children. This was exciting, and it felt normal. I didn't have to think about werewolves or vampires, I just had to go to a party with my friends. It felt normal.
When we arrived, the party was in full swing, but no sign of Bella or my wolf yet. Alice swung by, to say hello to us, commenting that we looked good. I didn't see any other Cullen. We made our way to the music, dancing like idiots. Mike joined us shortly, looking handsome in jeans and a shirt. Eric also found us, looking dorky but cute, a pair of proper dress pants on.
"I want a drink," I mumbled to Jess, and so we left to go find the kitchen. The house was huge, and as Bella had said, absolutely full of windows.
"Bella! You came!" Jess' voice was a mixture of excitement and confusion, as we turned the corner to find my sister. She had on a pair of tight black jeans, and a periwinkle shirt. Her hair was flat and left straight, and she had no makeup on. Had Alice forced her here?
Bella, Jess and Ange exchanged hugs, making brief conversation, before rushing off. I followed them to the kitchen, grabbing myself a can of diet soda.
I yelped as I was grabbed from behind, dropping my can. A tanned hand caught it before it hit the floor.
"Fuck you look good," Jake muttered into my ear as he held me to his chest.
"You've grown!" Embry grinned as he handed my can back to me.
"I've got heels on moron," I snapped playfully. I could see Angela and Jess gawking at the three wolves. They cleaned up nice, each of them wearing a pair of jeans and some form of black t shirt. Had they meant to dress the same?
