Strange Frequencies - Part 2

Claire's P.O.V

"You're late." Scott said.

"Sorry I was too busy not caring." I said and rolled my eyes.

"Look just go set up the transmitter until I figure out what I wanna do with you." Scott said forcefully.

"Fine." I said and looked at the transmitter and set it up so apparently it'll block the frequencies of the Doctors.

Out of the back of my head I could hear Lydia and Scott talking.

"Is it me or does it seem like Liam's not aware of the second part of the plan." Lydia whispered.

"I'm not even sure there's gonna be a second part." Scott admitted lowly.

"Or if it's going to work?"

I was disrupted by high pitched noises, but I only heard them faintly. I put the transmitter on a locker and came around to see Lydia and Scott. I saw the bag of chains in a bag on the bench and I shook my head and walked past them.

About an hour we just sat there and I was getting anxious and not to mention bored.

"Why can't I just go keep guard some place in the school by myself?" I asked.

"Claire we get this is hard, but you're 15 you're not ready for that much pressure yet."

"And you're make me sit here watching the guy I use to love slip through my hands into hers. You're crazy." I said.

"Don't be silly Claire, Liam loves you. You've been together for almost a year and a half." Lydia said.

"Have you seen the way he acts around her or how much his heart beats and I have to sit there and take it?" I told them.

"Look at them Scott, don't you see they way they look at each other like you and Allison did." I teared up. I heard his heart pang but, I walked away and sat against the lockers. Looking at them just made my heart break more and more.

It had been a while and I was drifting in an out of sleep. A ruckus woke me up , it was the sound of chains and I saw Liam at the bag.

I stood up and he said,

"What are you gonna do with these?" He asked.

"Brought them just in case."

"In case of what?!" He jumped.

"In case we had a chance to catch one." Lydia said calmly.

"If we can't make the school a fortress maybe we can make it a trap." Scott told him.

"They're coming for her, does that mean she's the bait?"

"Liam we brought her here to protect her." Lydia said.

"And now she's bait." Liam said disgusted.

"Am I bait?"

"Guys this plan was gonna work one way or another we all knew that." I told them standing up and walking over.

"No one's bait and Claire's right we can't be bodyguards to everyone, every night." Scott said.
