Lies of Omission - Part 2

Claire's POV

I could feel no control over myself like I just wanted to rip someone to shreds. I didn't know where I was, just that it was dark. I had no claws or teeth, but my eyes glowed bright green. I could hear footsteps echoing and suddenly I was at Sinema, next to one of the doctors. The doctor put another shot in me and I started to change again. I was all hyped up and I could hear Hayden and Liam here. It was like my first time on a full moon but 5 times more powerful. The lights flickered and buzzed. We saw them running, but we stepped out in front of them. My long fangs had saliva dripping from them and my eyes glowed. They just stopped and looked at us. I roared at Liam and hit him forcefully to the ground. Then we both looked at Hayden. Liam got up and looked at me.

"Claire?"

All I did was growl and throw him to the side. Then I heard a growl from Scott McCall. He attacked one of the doctors so I went to go help. I jumped on Scott and held him down. He pushed me off and tried to swing and kick, but I blocked his every move and I pushed him down. The other doctor jerked him up and hit him. He got a few good hits, except I stopped him, I hit him then shoved him back hard against a pole. He hit me and I snarled at him then he tried to kick me, but I flipped him. Theo came out and hit the other Doctor and pushed me. I punched Theo and deflected him off.

"Make her stop." He muttered to the doctor.

"I need more time" he said shoved against the pole.

"Perigee-syzygy" They said and threw him to the side. I heard Liam scream and I knew they did what they needed and before I knew it the doctors were beating me at once. They kept hitting my face and stomach. I was picked up and I felt a big needle go through my hip and thrown to the floor. They kicked me once more and left. My fangs, spots, claws were gone and my back returned to normal along with my eyes. My head came back to reality and I was in control. Scott got up and yelled

"Where's Hayden?!"

I could hear them get up and run over to them. I coughed up black and mercury. I was to weak to even move.

"I saw Claire where is she?!" Liam yelled.

"Did you see her Scott? She attacked us, she attacked you, her eyes were electric dark shade of green, that's nothing like I've ever seen it before." Liam said.

"That was defiantly not Claire, she wasn't in control. They must have turned her into something, look we'll figure it out later, but Theo take them and see if Claire still here take them to the animal hospital, I'll meet you there." Scott said and I heard 3 pairs of footsteps near me. I was so weak I could barely keep my eyes open.

"Look at her mouth." Hayden said.

"And the pool of black and mercury." Liam sighed.

Theo's POV

I picked Claire up and walked out to my truck. I placed her in the front and the other two hopped in the back. I knew it was a bad idea to let them do that to Claire, it's all my fault, I knew Hayden would die anyway. Now Claire just might too.

"Keep her awake. I don't think it's a good idea for her to fall asleep." I told Liam.

"Hayden? Hayden, you gotta stay awake."

"I'm so tired."

"Yeah, I know, but you can't go to sleep. How do we help her? "

"I don't know." I said hopeless. "When it's wolfsbane poisoning, you burn it out, but I don't know anything about mercury. Especially a kind that's probably been altered by them."

"Is she going to heal?" Liam asked desperately.

"The problem is she's not really like us, Liam. None of them are. They're more like, like cheap knockoffs. She might not be as strong as we are. Or heal like we do. She's not a real werewolf."

"What if we turn her into one?" Liam exclaimed.

"Nice idea. Except you and I can't do that." I stated

"But Scott can."

We arrived at the animal hospital and I brought Claire in. I set her on a exam table and Hayden and Liam sat in the corner.

"Will she be okay?" Liam asked quietly, looking up at Claire.

"I don't know." I said to him.

"She's real though, she's not a chimera, but they did inject her with some pretty powerful stuff." I dryly chuckled.

"What happened with her tonight?"

"I don't know. Maybe they saw her as a weak link so they used her against us. She didn't deserve what she went through tonight though." I said meaningly brushing the hair out of her face.

"You still love her don't you." I said glancing up at him.

"Now why would you think that?" He shot back with a rude tone.

"Because you wouldn't be so defensive or ask about her. She didn't do anything Liam, you did this yourself." I told him.

"I know." he said sadly and looked up with a single tear rolling down his face. I looked back down to the body who was twitching below me.

"Claire?" I asked.

Her eyes shot open and took in a gasp of air which resulted in coughing extremely heavily. So hard she coughed up that same blackish mercury substance.

"Hey Claire it's okay lay back down." I told her.

"I'm sorry." she breathed out.

"Calm down." I said. She laid back trying to breathe, but she didn't look to good, her face was pale and she was burning up having uneven breathes. She was struggling and I could see it.

Scott burst in drenched, in time for Liam to say,

"She's getting worse. I think she's dying." He said worried.

"It's got to be some kind of mercury poisoning." I said.

"Scott, remember what you promised me. You said you'd do everything you could to save her. If she's a real werewolf, we can save her. You gotta give her the bite." Liam said knowingly. Yet the words that came out of Scott's mouth shocked all of us.

"No"

So I decided next chapter will just be a big chapter to wrap up the ending and how many of you are excited as I am that the new season is in like a month holy shit. So do you think Hayden AND Claire will die? Stay tuned and remember
