TWENTIETH CHAPTER I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR STICKING WITH ME

October 24 12:49 PM

"This is going to work!"

"No it's not."

"Yes it is!"

"No it's not."

As usual, someone is being pessimistic, only the roles are switched. Andrew, fully believing in me and the plan in confident it will work. Me? I'm terrified it'll fail and the blame will be on me. Might as well take the blame now so that when it does fail I'll be able to tell him I told him so. Really, I'm the brains on this island.

Earlier Andrew and I snuck into the treehouse to get the supplies we'd need for the trip and hid them in the bush where Jerardo would take it. Also, Crazy Lady is a girl so I was blessed when I found a few lady products on the table and may or may not have grabbed the entire box. Hopefully she doesn't need them...

Andrew just gave me an odd look but I glared at him.

Sitting in our knees and looking down at the map, we took one last look before we sighed and stood up.

"It's now or never, Hannah." Andrew said softly. He smiled at me with such an odd expression I couldn't read it.

"What on your mind?" I asked him, biting my lip in puzzlement.

He sighed. "Look," he started awkwardly, "we--some of us may not make it out alive. But it doesn't matter, just follow through with the plan."

"What are you saying?" I asked, staring at him with slight anger and irritation bubbling within.

"Hannah-- I just--look," he started, "this may be our last time seeing each other and there's something I want to do but I'm scared to do it."

I started at him in bewilderment. "Andrew, since when have you been scared to do something?"

He chuckled bitterly. "You don't get it. This will either fulfill or tear apart my heart." He stated at me with all frustration wedged on his beautiful face. "God, I hate being such a wuss."

"Them don't be a wuss," I said to him, giving him a hard look, "Sometimes it's worth the pain."

He took a deep breath, and right before he was about to take a step towards me Crazy Lady decided to wake up from her nap and wail.

I glared at her. "It's time to go," I said to him nervously. I stepped forward and gave him a hug, a huge out forming in the bottom of my stomach. He hugged me back so tightly I smiled. He didn't want to let go either. "It's been a fun time being stranded with you, Andrew."

He pulled back and rested his hands in my shoulders. "You too, Hannah Banana." He looked like he wanted to say more, but Crazy Lady shouted profanities at us.

I hugged Andrew quickly one more time, butterflies growing in my stomach at the thought of him holding me, and walked towards Crazy Lady still tied up.

"Hey Crazy Lady," I started, talking in a sickeningly sweet voice, "Guess what? We're going to ruin your little island and boy do I look forward to it. No more diamonds for you!"

She looked at me desperately before shaking her head violently. "No, please! You can't!"

I shrugged. "You can't threaten people where I come from, but there are no rules on this island. Sorry to break it to you."

"Please don't, you have no idea what you're doing. You'll get yourselves killed!" She begged, thrashing around in the ropes.

"And if we don't you'll kill us. Do you see the problem with that? Quite problematic if you ask me," I said. When I turned around, Andrew was gone. I felt my nerves rise but I told myself it's okay. It's part of the plan.
