The first thing that came to my mind was that I was an idiot. The second one was panic as I heard Tara ask which way leads back to the party. The third thing that came to my mind was that this was like a roller coaster.

I gripped the bench tightly as the boat fell down the side. My hair was coming loose from its bun due to it whipping around. The feeling of free falling through air on a boat is not one I want to feel again. The emotions flying throughout my body were electrifying, leaving me feeling numb.

When it hit the water with a loud splash, I went flying forward and hit my head on the bench.

"Wow that hurts." I muttered to myself.

Andrew was close by, swimming towards the boat is utter surprise. I grabbed the oar, about ready to meet him halfway but the oar broke. "Seriously? Are you kidding me?"

"Hannah!" He cried from the distance.

"I'm coming!" I yelled desperately. "Hold on!" I pushed the tarp farther down so that three-fourths of the boat was exposed.

The sun was coming down, and it was almost dark, so Andrew was getting harder and harder to see. Deciding the engine was my best shot, I struggled over the benches to get to it. Once I did, I cursed out loud. I don't know how to run an engine! Why cant they simply work with a on/off switch? Desperately thinking, I remembered how in the movies they're always pulling a string of some sort. Simple right?

Fumbling around with things, I finally found it and yanked on it as hard as I could. The engine roared loudly, and I screamed in joy. "I'm coming Andrew! Hold on!"

"Could you hurry up?" He called angrily from the distance.

I didn't bother saying anything back as I grabbed the handle and steered it towards his figure. It was almost dark out, and I was so happy he decided to wear a white shirt that contrasted with the dark. As soon as I was ten yards away from him, I stopped the engine.

"Andrew, are you okay?" I asked quickly, running to the side to help him up.

He only sighed in relief as soon as we managed to get him on. He laid back on one of the benches and kept taking deep breaths. Deciding I didn't want to ruin his moment, I kept my mouth shut.

"Hannah," he said through gritted teeth and sat up. "What the hell were you thinking?"

I opened my mouth and shut it quickly. I just risked my life to save him. I could have left him to drown! This is how he repays me?

"Well I was thinking that I couldn't leave you there!" I said angrily, getting mad at him.

"So you decided to use this boat and come and what, save me from water?" He said sarcastically.

Why was he being a jerk? I just saved him! I excpectted at least some gratitude!

"I couldn't just leave you!" I cried, tightening my grip on my camera in anger.

"So you decided to not only put my life at risk, but yours as well? Were you even thinking? Why didn't you just stop the damn boat?" He was basically shouting now.

"Where is the boat?" I asked suddenly, looking around with wide eyes.

"Which way did you come from?" He asked me, taking off his shoes and wet socks.

"Uh..." I tailed off, trying to remember. "I'm not sure."

"You're kidding." He gaped. "Hannah Banana, please tell me you didn't forget."
