This chapter gets steamy...fair warning.

The "surprise" Andrew had for me was in his room. It didn't sound extravagant, but I didn't want to be so quick to judge. If it was a simple pizza and a movie, I'd be more than oaky with that. I was too underdressed for anything else. Tara brought me a flower crown to wear in my greasy hair. When I was passed out i'd been given a patients bath but its nothing like a real shower. I actually plan to shower after this date.
I knocked on his door once. The rooms blinds were shut and no light escaped through the cracks. Was he sleeping?
He stuck his head out and frowned. "You're early." He was wearing a hospital gown like me, and the bandage on his head was now a gauze on the back of his shaved head.
"Is that a problem?" I asked him, leaning back in the wheel chair.
He sighed before shaking his head. "You wouldn't be Hannah if you listened to me and actually showed up on time."
I grinned and rolled in through the door. I gasped.
The room was lit with small candles, the bed covered in a picnic basket full of food and drinks. The lighting gave the room a warm vibe, almost like home. There was a small disco hung from the ceiling and a tiny black speaker playing Eden Project. I turned to him, my mouth open in shock. This is way more than I imagined. "Andrew..."
"While we were away, we missed our Homecoming. I told you I'd make it up to you. So, with that being said, Hannah, will you go to Ho-Homecoming?" He smiled, pulling a rose out of nowhere and holding it out.
I couldn't help the tears. The fact he remembered how big of a deal this was to me was enough to make me weak in the knees. Maybe it was all the stress that's happened over the past few events. He went through all this trouble...just for me? "Yes!" I shakily stood up and hugged him tightly, sniffling as he shushed me and rubbed my back comfortingly.
"Shss, baby, this is supposed to be a happy moment." He cooed in my ear.
I nodded and pulled back, wiping my nose. "What the hell is Ho-Hocomeing?"
He grinned. "Hospital Homecoming. And you look beautiful."
I shook my head. "I look like shit, babe, I know. But hey, I'm wearing flowers in my hair."
He shook his head. "Wrong. Everyone looks like shit compared to you."
Rolling my eyes, I tried to step back but wobbled and almost fell, had Andrew not been there.
"Dance with me." He said, holding me tightly, pulling my body flush against him.
The intimate moment made heat rush to my face, but I nodded. Andrew maneuvered us around the room as slow and soft tunes played. I'm not sure how many hours we danced for, just swaying back and forth before he pulled back. he reached behind him with hand and pulled out a crown.
"Congratulations, you're my queen."

"You need a shower," I said, poking Andrews nose.
"You too."
"The showers close at ten, so I cant."
He smirked. "Rules have never stopped us."
Ten minutes later, I was sitting on Andrews lap on the wheel chair, and we wheeled all the way down to the showers. He wanted to go fast, so we sped down and occasionally he would lock eyes with me, both of us smiling in joy at the thrill. Patients curfew was 11, so we were technically breaking the rule.
