"Get her, Cato!" Glimmer yells. Wow, that girl can be really annoying sometimes.
I keep running after girl on fire. She runs up a tree. I snarl.
"Here, Cato, take this." Glimmer says, holding her arrow out to me as I start to climb the tree.
"I don't need it. I'll do better with my sword." I say. About a quarter of the way up, a branch snaps under my weight, and I plummet down, landing on my head. I scramble up, swearing so much, more than I ever have in my life.
"I'll try." Glimmer says. She stops though, when she knows that the branches can't hold her any more. With extreme caution, she pulls out an arrow, loads it, then fires. And misses. District 12 grabs the arrow and waves it teasingly in front of Glimmers face. Glimmer snarls, but climbs down, knowing that she can't try and get it.
"So, Cato, what do we do?" Clive asks, a smirk on her face.
"Shut up, Clove." I mutter. She smirks.
"Guys, we should just wait her out. She can't stay there forever. She'll starve." Loverboy suggests.
Cato considers this, then nods. "We'll wait her out. Alright, lets set up camp." I order.
Buzz, buzz. I wake up and watch as a tracker jacker nest comes crashing down in front of the tree. I scramble up and run, Clove, Marvel, and Loverboy following me. I hear Glimmer scream, over and over again. As we reach the lake, I hear the cannon sound. We all dive into the water, and the tracker jackers leave us alone.
"Girl on fire... you are so dead." I hiss. I run through the trees, and when I get there, I see Glimmer lying on the ground, dead, and Loverboy pushing District 12 away. I look at him, anger filling my body. He goes to run, but I go and slice his thigh open. He falls to the ground, and I smirk. "I'll let you suffer." I hiss, then turn around and run back to the lake, the tracker jacker venom causing me to run into trees.
I'll let you suffer.
