Back at the castle
--------

Regina giggled and hopped off the horse handing the reins to one of the maids. "Thank you!" She called and the maid smiled, walking the two horses out of sight.

"Well...Robin thank you for today. It was simply amazing.."

"Uh..yeah. You're welcome." Robin smiled nervously and rubbed the back of his neck.

"I'm going to head up to my room..to bathe and then I'm sure you'll want me for some other activity?" Regina asked with a slight attitude but it was not intended! She actually quite liked being around Robin. Robin felt a hurt pang hit his chest and he slowly shook his head. "No. No you may do what ever you'd like after that.."

"Oh..." Regina mumbled. "Alright well..thank you for taking me riding." Regina smiled and walked back into the castle. Robin stood there and slowly shook his head, biting the inside of his lip. Fine...if Regina didn't even want to try, he wouldn't either.
--------

"Oh Robin may you please-"

"It's your majesty." Robin bit back coldly making Regina shutter away slightly.

"Oh..." The sadness was very evident in Regina's voice. "Alright...your majesty...would you follow me please..?" She asked gentler and curtseyed. The sight of it made Robin uncomfortable..he didn't like his wife bowing down to him. Robin slowly nodded and sighed. "Very well then." He straightened out his jacket and followed behind Regina. "Regina...? Where are we going?" He asked as they walked out of the castle and toward the woods.

"Uh..it's a surprise." Regina said shyly. She didn't know where her and Robin stood..she didn't know if they were still 'friends' or at least that's what she called it in her mind. He was now making her use 'your majesty' and not correcting her when she curtseyed.

"In the woods?"

"Yes your majesty.." Robin squeezed his eyes shut at the term and slowly took a deep breath. No if she wasn't going to try neither would he...in his mind he believed that Regina wasn't even trying to get closer to him, she didn't want to and that she was unappreciative for the ways Robin has been kind.

Off in the center of a group of trees the ground had been cleared away. There was candles lining around a big blanket and a picnic basket. Regina blushed brightly and sighed. "I thought since...you always did the planing...maybe I'd plan something this time?" Robins heart swelled up and he smiled softly at her. This was her way of trying...of showing she cared and that she was trying to make an effort here. "Regina..." Robin sighed.

"Your majesty..do you not-"

"It's Robin.." He corrected, "and I love this..."

"Robin, you're confusing me. You just said I should call-"

"I know what I said...I didn't mean it. I was just upset because...I felt like you didn't want to try here. In this marriage I mean. I felt that you were giving up so..I was just going to as well."

Regina listened closely and bit the inside of her cheek, tugging on robins hand until they were sitting on the blanket, in front of the picnic basket. "Well...I haven't given up. I'm not a quitter." Regina giggled softly and began to take out some fruit. Robin smiled at her and rubbed her arm gently. "I know that. I do." They shared a soft smile and began eating some of the food Regina had provided.

"Robin?"

"Yes"

"So you remember our first outing together..? When you took me to the market and we looked up at the stars and..we made a little competition out of it?" Regina blushed.

"I do.." Robin chucked. "I do very clearly. It was lovely."

"I was thinking...we could do that again. I mean, it's night time and the sky is full of stars tonight!"

"That would be lovely. I'm so going to win!" Robin moved the picnic basket out of the way and Regina and he laid down on the blanket, looking up at the stars. "Oh no way!" Regina countered and Robin laughed.

"Soo...how long before someone wins?"

"Let's say...create three things. The looser has to...jump into that lake over there..stark naked." Robin laughed.

Regina gasped and blushed. "Don't you think that's a bit much?"

"Well then I guess you'll make sure you win huh?"

Regina nodded frantically and laid down, looking up at the sky.

"Ooo..I see a dog! With sunglasses and a hat!" Regina pointed to it and Robin laughed, nodding.

"Oh! I see a bird and he's wearing a sweater!" Regina giggled and Robin rolled his eyes. He decided right at the beginning that he wasn't going to let Regina loose...he knew he could beat her at this game but he also knew Regina wasn't ready to kiss him. She definitely wasn't ready for him to see her naked.

Regina defined one more object and laughed. "HA!" She barked. "Now Mr. Locksey, you lost..so...strip.." She brushed brightly and choked on her words slightly, gulping.

Robin sighed and laughed, standing up. "I guess I did make that bet didn't I." Regina didn't say anything, she caught her bottom lip between her teeth and her blush spread more. Robin could see it even in the dark of the night, the world lit only by the sky.

Robin slowly pulled his shirt over his head hearing a small gasp ignite from Regina's lips.

Regina gulped and looked over robins muscly figure. He had abs. Clearly defined...his arm muscles were huge and broad, it made Regina feel all..warm. She slowly sat up and bit her lip. Next Robin kicked off his shoes and pulled his socks off, pulling his pants down his legs. Regina gasped and squeezed her eyes shut for a moment, when she opened them Robin was looking down at her with a chuckle. Robin pulled his underwear off and got a slight chill from the night time breeze. "Burr.." He smiled and a small blush rose to his cheeks. Regina was stunned...this man was beautiful. She was so young and innocent and this...this was so not innocent. She bit her lip and mustered up all her courage to talk. "Well...the water awaits you." She croaked.

Robin laughed and nodded, jogging off toward the water. 'Nice ass..' Regina noted and slowly stood up laughing as Robin screamed from the chill of the water. She rushed to the rock Robin jumped off of and peered into the water at him. "Hey!" She giggled and Robin smiled brightly at her, laughing. "Hey.." He sighed and wiped the water out of his eyes.

"Coming in?"

"Robin! I-I" she stuttered.

"You don't have to undress. Just jump in!"

"It's freezing!"

"You'll live."

Regina bit her lip and stood up, backing up slowly. She closed her eyes and ran toward the end of the rock, jumping into the water. "Ahh!" She screeched as she was engulfed by water. "Oh gosh! It's freezing!" Regina shook softly, her dress making the water stick to her even more. "Come here.." Robin smiled and took Regina's hand, pulling her against him as he leaned against a rock sticking out of the water.

Regina gasped and bit her lip, blushing. She hadn't ever been this close to Robin. Let alone any man. "Hi..." Regina choked.

"Hi!" Robin laughed and pushed some hair behind her ear lightly. "You're quite beautiful."

"You're perfectly handsome..."

Robin smiled and gently kissed Regina's cheek, not wanting to push the boundaries. "Robin..." Regina sighed.

"Yes?" Regina moved forward and gently pushed her lips against robins. A small gasp ignited from Robin and he wrapped his arms around Regina, pulling her closer. He kissed her gently and weaved his fingers through her hair. Nothing had ever felt so right. Regina slowly pulled away after she needed air and she kept her eyes closed. A small giggle ignited from her lips and she pushed off of Robin, swimming out further.

Robin was stunned. He smiled brightly and chased after Regina, catching her and spinning her around. "Ah! Robin!" Regina giggled and held on to him, smiling. "Thank you for tonight." Robin whispered. "Every part of it."

"It was my pleasure..."
