Bakugo x Reader: Volume 2
This is a fanfiction/romance story about a biracial: African and Filipina American name Ren (xReader; YOU). This story is a continuation of the Bakugo x Reader: Volume 1. Ren has a combination of her parent's quirks: energy...
You and Bakugo entered an open field enclosed by a clear, dome-shaped glass as tough as steel, which keeps everything contained within the space.
You gaze towards the pseudo-sky, spotting a disk-like figure where the student heroes are positioned, watching the matches. "I guess they want to make sure the students are safe."
Bakugo glanced upward, "Yeah, they probably want to keep the students away from the pro heroes too." Bakugo snorted, crossing his arms over his chest. "I'll bet they're not expecting what we have in store for them." His grin was almost feral, indicating his eagerness to show off his skills.
You exchanged a brief glance with him, sharing a silent understanding. "We're going to show them why we're at the top," you declared with quiet confidence. Bakugo nodded, his determination mirroring your own as you both moved toward the center of the field.

"ALLLLRIGHT, PARTICIPANTS TO YOUR MARKS!" Present Mic's overbearing voice pierces our ears. "LET THE MATCH BEGIN!""
"I swear, does he ever shut up?" Bakugo muttered. He felt an instant pressure against his ribs. "What, Ren? You didn't have to hit me."
You rolled your eyes as the world began morphing into a city, transforming the open field into an urban landscape. Tall buildings sprouted from the ground, streets materialized beneath your feet, and the scenery shifted into a metropolis. This sudden change in environment added a new layer of complexity to the upcoming match.
As the cityscape took shape around you and Bakugo, you both shifted into defensive stances, scanning the urban terrain for threats and tactical advantages. The concrete jungle provided countless hiding spots, vantage points, and obstacles you could use against your opponents.
Present Mic's voice boomed once again, "THE STAGE IS SET! OUR HEROES FIND THEMSELVES IN THE HEART OF A SPRAWLING CITY! HOW WILL THEY NAVIGATE THIS URBAN BATTLEFIELD?"
You shared a quick glance with Bakugo, both understanding that this new terrain demanded different tactics. The urban setting, unlike the open field, would give an edge to those skilled in city combat and close-quarters quirks.
"Let's split up to cover more ground," you suggested in a hushed voice. "We can use the buildings as cover and gain a height advantage."
Bakugo nodded, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Good idea. I'll take the high ground and watch for movement. You scout the streets. We'll crush them whatever terrain they throw at us."
