Mitch

I was sitting on the couch with my legs thrown across Scott's lap. We were watching SpongeBob, his head resting on my shoulder. I couldn't be happier then I am in this moment. Scott's phone started to ring and he let out a sigh as he stood up. I pouted. He rolled his eyes at me and answered the call, walking into his bedroom. I sighed and flopped face first on the couch. I suddenly felt a pair of hands grab my waist. I started squealing and flailing around.
"Scott! Stop!" I cried through my laughter. He finally stopped and I hit him weakly on the shoulder. He just laughed and pushed me back words on the couch, hovering his body above mine. I felt the heat rush to my cheeks as he kissed the tip of my nose. He laughed and moved his lips down to my mouth. We kissed and I rolled over so we where holding each other close side by side. We stayed like that in silence for a while.
"Who called you?" I asked.
He swore under his breath and jumped up.
"It was Avi and Kevin, they wanted to meet me at the studio a half a hour ago!" I laughed.
He pointed at me and bopped my nose.
"I blame you entirely!" He said slipping on his coat. He hugged me and ran out the door. Wyatt jumped onto my lap and rubbed his chin on my stubble. I laughed.
"You only ever use me for my body!" I cried sarcastically. He purred. I lied on the couch for another hour or two when suddenly the room got cold. I shot up. Something's here... I stood up and spun around, looking in every direction. I heard quiet crying coming from my room. I started walking slowly. I opened my door and saw a small boy, around the age of 6, standing by my bed. I know this boy! I have since I was 9.
"Bennett...?" I said my voice quiet and shaky. He looked up at me with his black eyes.
I heard my phone vibrate but nothing matters right now. I got down on one knee so I was at his level.
"Don't cry..." I said. He reached out and set his hand on my shoulder, I couldn't feel him but I know he could feel me.
The whole house was silent minus my phone being blown up.
"What is wrong....?" I said finally.
"I need your help." His voice sounded strained and scared.
"Why?" I put out my hand and even though I can't feel him he grabbed in with his small hand. He was about to answer when I heard the door being thrown open. And just like that he disappeared. My mind was swimming and I could feel my body getting weak.
I heard Scott, Kevin and Avi all calling my name. I curled into a ball, as small as I could. I tried to answer But I was frozen. I couldn't move or speak.
"He is in here!" I heard Avi.
"Mitch! MITCH!" Someone waved a hand in front of my face.
"MITCH!" Scott yelled, fear in his voice. "Please God just answer me!" He yelled. I could keep myself up anymore and I blacked out.

Scott

I ran through the studio doors.
"I am so sorry! I was caught up in something." I said. Avi looked me up and down and started laughing hysterically.
"Have something to tell us man?" He said laughing.
I froze in horror as I realized the bulge in my pants.
'Damn you Mitch Grassi!' I thought.
"Shut up! Let's just get to work."
We worked on organizing our newest song 'on my way home.'
After about two hours of work we decided to be done for the night.
"Do you guys want to go out for dinner?" Kevin asked.
"Let me call Mitch and see if he is alright with that.
I called his phone but he didn't answer.
"Thats weird... He always answers" I said out loud and tried again. Same results. I tried another 3 times and started to panic.
"Would you mind if we go check on Mitch? He always answers unless something is wrong." The nodded and we headed out. I put on some music to try and clear my head. We were at the house pretty quick and I rushed to the door.
"Mitch?" I called. There wasn't an answer. We a split up and walked around the house calling his name.
"He is in here!" Avi yelled.
I ran into the room with Kevin right behind me. Mitch was on the floor in a tight ball staring at the wall.
"Mitch!" I yelled. He didn't move!
"MITCH!" I tried waving a hand in front of him but he didn't even blink. His breathing was rapid and his face pale.
"Please God just answer me!" I cried out. His eyes shifted to my face and I saw they were darker then they normally are. I was about to say something when his eyes rolled back and he fell over.
I lifted him up and set him gently in the bed. He was still breathing, which was good. I turned to Avi and Kevin. They were both pale and looked scared and worried.
"Should we take him to a doctor...?"
I shook my head. Mitch hatted hospitals.
"Let's just wait and see how he is when he wakes up." I said.
They were both quiet.
"We are going to stay here tonight. I don't want to leave him..." Avi said.
I nodded but stayed silent. I just sat there looking at Mitch. They walked away and into the living room.
I grabbed a book to try and distract myself. At some point I must have fallen asleep because I was jerked awake by Mitch shaking and mumbling. I shook his shoulder.
"Mitch! Wake up!" I yelled. The boys came running in.
"What is going on!" Kevin said panicked.
"I don't know..." Mitch was shaking badly and he was covered in sweat. He kept mumbling about Bennett and a fire and swinging.
I put a hand on his head and he was burning.
"He is burning up!" I shouted
"We are taking him I the hospital now!" Avi said.
I picked him up and we all piled into Avi's car. I sat in the back holding Mitch to my chest. We arrived and rushed in. A doctor looked panicked and gently took Mitch from my arms. We ran after him and the doctor set him on a bed and called for some nurses. They ran in with bags and buckets full of ice and ice water. They began covering Mitch. We where told to leave the room and I broke into tears.
