Part 2

Kirstie

I was snuggling with Olaf on my bed when my phone started ringing.
Scott.
"Hey Scott! What's up?" I said cheerfully.
"Kirst..." He said his voice quiet and braking. I sat up. He is crying, something must be wrong.
"What's wrong Scott?"
"Mitch... He... I..." He kept stuttering between sobs. My heart stopped. Something happened to Mitch.
"Mitch what Scott?" I said trying to stay calm.
"I got home from the studio with Avi and Kevin and we found Mitch in his room staring at a wall not moving at all. He was really pale and his eyes where all dark and weird. And then he passed out and he started mumbling and shaking and sweating. We took him to the hospital and he had a fever of 104... He almost died!" He cried.
"Where are you!?!" I said
"At the hospital!"
"What one!?!" I cried
He told me the name and address and I was out the door. It took me about 20 minutes and I was going 15 over the speed limit. I ran into the building and asked the woman for Mitch's room.
I made my way quickly to it and slide open his door. Scott was sitting in the hard plastic chair by Mitch's bed. Mitch was lying there with a tube attached to his nose with his eyes closed. Avi and Kevin were standing at the other side of his bed.
I walked over and stood by Scott.
He looked at me and smiled.
"How is he?" I asked, setting a hand on Scott's shoulder. He was holding Mitch's hand.
"His fever is gone and they said he needs to stay over night for observation." I smiled. Mitch rolled over and started babbling. I listened closely and everyone else was as well.
"Bennett... Please.... Help.... Fire..." I froze. I looked at everyone and they all looked confused at his words. But they made it so I know exactly what is happening.
"Kirstie!" Scott said.
"What." I looked at him.
"You got really pale... Do you know what he is talking about?" I remember Mitch making me promise never to tell anyone.
I shook my head. Scott turned his attention back to Mitch and kissed his forehead. I smiled. They haven't told us yet but I suspected for a while that they were a couple. Mitch's eyes fluttered open and he smiled when his eyes met Scott's.
"Scott?"
"What is it Mitch?"
"I love you so much." He said. I looked at Avi and Kevin and I could tell they knew it was more then a friendly I love you.
"I love you to Mitchy." Scott said giving Mitch a short kiss. Mitch sighed into the kiss happily.
I couldn't help it, I awed. Mitch looked at me and started blushing something awful. He looked over and saw Avi and Kevin. He rolled over and buried his face in his pillow. Scott laughed a little and started drawing little circles on Mitch's back. He rolled to face him and smiled. Scott kissed his hand.
"So... Mitch?" Avi asked.
"Yeah?"
"Was it you who gave Scott a boner today?" Scott blushed redder then a tomato and Mitch started laughing.
"What?" He said through his laughter.
"Scott met us at studio today with a pretty big bulge in his pants." Avi said laughing. Scott glared at Avi.
"Then most likely. We where kind of making out on top of each other right before he left." Scott pointed at Mitch.
"Traitor! You have no proof!" He yelled playfully, making us all laugh.
I composed myself and remembered all of the things Mitch was saying in his sleep.
"Would you all mind giving me a minute alone with Mitch...?" The looked kind of weary but all got up and left, shutting the door behind them.
Mitch avoided my eyes.
"He's back... Isn't he?"
Mitch nodded. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.
"What did he want...? Did he hurt you?" Mitch started crying.
"He never hurt me! That was an accident! And I didn't get to hear what he wanted, Scott scared him away!" Mitch cried.
"Mitch... You have to be careful! I know that what he did to you back then was an accident but I thought I lost you that night! And worse! You made me keep it from Scott! Mitch!" I took a deep breath. "You know what they are capable of. I just... I can't risk almost looking you again..." I said crying as I sat besides him.
"Kirstie... He needs my help... I can't just abandon him..." I couldn't respond, I just cried.

Scott

We left the room but I couldn't just stand here. I opened the door just enough to hear their conversation.
"He's back... Isn't he?" Kirstie said, her voice shaking so badly.
"What did he want...? Did he hurt you?" She said and Mitch started crying.
"He never hurt me! That was an accident! And I didn't get to hear what he wanted, Scott scared him away!" Mitch cried. I was so confused. Who did I scare away?
"Mitch... You have to be careful! I know that what he did to you back then was an accident but I thought I lost you that night! And worse! You made me keep it from Scott! Mitch!" She took a deep breath. "You know what they are capable of. I just... I can't risk almost looking you again..." She said crying hard.
"Kirstie... He need my help... I can't just abandon him..." Mitch said.
I opened the door farther and saw Kirstie sobbing into Mitch's chest as he brushed his hands through his hair.
I shut the door and sat down by Avi and Kevin.
"Dude... You are super pale... What did you hear?" Kevin said.
"Apparently someone hurt Mitch along time ago and it almost killed him. Only Kirstie knows... But whoever it was was in our house and asked for Mitch's help. I scared him away apparently..." They both looked as confused as I felt.
