Scott
We were about to give up when we saw Mitch. He walked into an empty building.
We jumped out of the car and followed him into the building.
Mitch was on his knees in the center on a huge, empty room.
We walked over and I saw he was crying. Then I heard a voice echoing around the room.
But Mitch's mouth wasn't moving.
The voice sounded like it belonged to a young boy. It was strained, high pitched and cracking.
"Mitch...
You promised...
Promised...
That you wouldn't leave me...
Why...?
Why...?"
Silence.
I have never been more scared in my life. I had goosebumps covering my skin.
Then Mitch spoke, his voice was slow, thick and cracking...
"I... Have to... get back...
The ritual... The sacrifice...
I... have to stop this...
I... was born... for this purpose...
Destiny..."
With the last word Mitch collapsed on the floor and convulsed.
I was frozen and heard a woman laughing maniacally.
When I finally came to my senses I ran to Mitch, the rest of the crew following me.
I went to pick him up but when I touched him he woke up and started screaming.
I jumped away and noticed a burn where I had touched him.
"What the hell..."
No one else noticed and before I could stop her Kirstie went and grabbed Mitchs arm, leaving a hand shaped burn.
Mitch started crying.
"Shhhh... Its okay Mitch... Just follow us." I said.
We all started towards the door, Mitch following behind us.
We all leave but when Mitch reaches the door he bumps into something we cannot see.
He starts banging on the "wall" or whatever invisible thing was blocking him.
I tried to get to him but I could not enter either.
"Mitch!" I screamed.
His voice was slow and strained.
"Scott...
Please... save yourself...
No matter what happens...
I will always love you...
I need you... to do something...
Kill me...
And this will all be over...
Please...
Please..."
I start sobbing and Mitch falls to the floor, blood falling from him.
I am sorry for the short chapter and not updating in AGES so I figured I would give you guys a short chapter. I am going to try and update this again soon, but I don't think there will be to many chapters left. Anyway... Love you guys! I hope you enjoy this little tidbit.
