You sigh, sitting in the Apollo cabin staring blankly at the ceiling. Today was the most boring day ever. You were supposed to meet your friend, and maybe, just maybe crush, today. That boy was the one and only Leo Valdez. He was honestly the funniest guy in camp to you, so it was always fun to hang out with him.

Instead of your plans to go to the lake, Leo cancelled last night at dinner for 'some workshop time'. That hurt way worse than anything before. That he just dumped your plans to beat up metal and pour smelly, hot, nasty melted rock to make a dumb plate of armor or something. You bit your tongue so hard, trying not to get mad. You had kept your cool, but it still stunk.

Now here you were, sitting on your bunkbed in your cabin, staring at the ceiling. Your siblings had mostly left, so the place was silent. You sighed, then turned so you were looking a half of a large bookcase. All your stuff you'd brought was on the two shelves. You dug around for a bit, but found nothing to do. You let out a sigh and climbed off your bed. You walked out to the front of the cabin. A small porch sat out with two rocking chairs. You sat in one, looking out at the camp.

A hand shook you out of slee- Sleep? When had you fallen asleep? You look at a chubbish face. "What is it Ivan?" You ask, looking at your grinning half-brother.

He took his hand off you, then dropped something heavy into your lap with the other hand. "You have a boyfriend, Y/N." He snickered, then walked into the cabin without another word.

"Boyfr-?" You start, frowning, then sighed and shook your head. You look down at what looks like a piece of bronze. Will you go out with me, Y/N? Was beaten into the metal surface. Underneath it was two boxes, a yes next to one and a no next to the other. You grinned widely at the bottom. Leo V. You were going to say yes, just one problem, you had no clue how to. It was metal. You set the plate down on the ground next to the chair, then started towards the Hephaestus cabin with your answer on your tongue.
