John (Almost Human)

First Karl Urban one for me, most likely will be plenty more along with Billy Burke characters. Enjoy!

You walk into your new work, trying to fight back your nervousness. Your eyes catch on a MX who's staring at you, probably checking your background. Wonderful. You continue towards what you make as the help desk, holding a tablet in your hand. The tablet has your records, even though they could have a robot scan you on the spot.

"Excuse me, is this the help desk?" You ask a brown haired man who's sitting behind the desk, looking at a document.

"No it's not. If you're here to file a report, just go to that desk over there." He stated gruffly, looking at another desk briefly and nodding before looking at you. "But, I can help you here." He offered, his voice changing slightly.

"Oh, I'm not here to file a report. I was supposed to report today, for my first day." You explain.

"Oh then you want to go over there." He said, pointing at a door into a more professional looking kind of office. "I'm John by the way." He said, standing up and grinning slightly.

You grinned a little too. "Y/N. Nice to meet you."

"Same here. Maybe we could go for coffee sometime?" John paused, then added with a shrug. "If Dorian isn't bugging me."

"Dorian?"

"Yeah, my robot. Well, he doesn't like when I call him a robot, but you know." He paused. "He's not an MX. He's well, I'll explain, if we go for coffee."

You smile a little more. "Alright. Coffee it is." You give him a small nod. "See you."

He gave you a nod, still grinning, then sat back down as you walked towards the office. Working here might be interesting.

Gah.. I'm sorry this was doo doo crud! I didn't plan this out and I messed up on John's characters so bad. Sorry again.
